Please be sure to read all of this very important information
All performers are going to wear Rock And Roll Forever t-shirts as part of their costumes.
To order t-shirts, please return your t-shirt order form and payment to Mrs. Bartoloni or
Mrs. Sullivan. The t-shirt/meal fee is $10.00 per child. Make checks payable to: Conley
Elementary School. Your order must be received no later than Friday, May 10, 2013. Tshirts will be given to students at the dress rehearsal; students will not receive their tshirt until costume fees are paid. T-shirt order forms are printed on the LAST page of this
information packet .
The $10.00 fee will also be used to provide your child with a pizza, drink and dessert dinner
the night of the performances. Performers will be eating dinner in between the two

Additional Classes / Rehearsals have been scheduled. We have extended the majority
of our regular Wednesday drama classes until 4:15 PM, there are also additional days
and times scheduled for select scenes and groups – please review the listing below.

DRESS REHEARSAL

Dress Rehearsal will be held on Monday June 3, 2013 at the Conley School. All students
will be given their t-shirts at dress rehearsal. They should also bring to school additional
costumes/props that they will be wearing/using the night of the show. Dress Rehearsal
runs until 5:00 PM. You may also want to pack a snack (nothing too messy or that will stain
costumes and also something that is PEANUT FREE) and water for your performer.
There will be two performances on Thursday June 6, 2013 at
the Conley School. The show times are 5:30 PM & 7:15 PM. Call
time for the performers is 4:30 PM. The doors will open 20
minutes prior to the start of each show. Tickets will be available AT THE DOOR the
night of the show. Tickets will be $3 for adults, $2 for students and children. No
performers will be allowed to leave the backstage area until the entire show is complete!
Performers should arrive with their hair and make-up ready for the first show and
dressed in their costume. Parents will be allowed to escort their children to a class
room in the 4th grade hallway where a school teacher and/or assistant will be there to
help with props, line-up, etc. Please make sure your child’s name is written in all shoes,
clothes, bags etc. Every year we are left with bags of “forgotten” items. You will be able
to pick up your child from a class room in the 4th grade hallway at the END of both
shows. The time in between the two performances is set aside for the actors to eat
dinner and re-energize for the second show. Although it may seem like an ideal time for
you to visit with relatives, please refrain from doing so, students have a short time to
gather together, eat and prepare for the second show. You will have plenty of time
after the second performance to congratulate your star performer. We thank you in
advance for your cooperation.

Your child may also need additional costume/props- depending on the part he or she has
been assigned. Your child should know this information! Please contact Mrs. Ahearn @

Make-up: Stage make-up and proper hairstyles should be worn for both shows. Below
are suggestions for make-up styles for your children. We do not require students to
wear make-up. However, the bright stage lights can wash out faces and a little bit of
make-up can do wonders. Again, these are not requirements, just suggestions. BOYS DO
NOT NEED TO WEAR MAKE-UP.
SUGGESTED MAKE-UP

A light layer of pressed powder to match skin tone

Powder blush in a rose shade

Small amount of eye shadow slightly darker/brighter than skin tone

Rose, red or burgundy shades of lip color

Black mascara
Hair Guidelines: Long hair should be pulled away from the face in a high ponytail. You
may curl your ponytail if you wish or you may use “cheer curls.” All hair is to be styled
and groomed in advance of arriving for the performance.
