
Purpose - To ensure quality GED® preparation
and high levels of GED® attainment

Description – Percentage of students taking at
least one GED® test during a program year who
receive a GED® diploma during the program year


Scoring GED® test files
Performance Measures

Credit is given to the college where the
student received 12 or more contact hours
and not the location the GED® test was
taken.
System Goal: 82.0%
 System Baseline: 49.3%
 Average College Percentage: 73.6%
 System Totals (All Students): 71.7%

Methodology

Denominator: GED® students with an entering
Educational Functioning level of ASEL or ASEH
who take at least one GED® test during the
program year (July 1 – June 30) and have 12 or
more total contact hours.

Numerator: All students from the denominator
who receive a GED® diploma during the program
year.

Individual School Scores:
Green - Met or Exceeded Goal
Yellow - Above College Average, Below Goal
Red - Above Baseline, Below Average
Black - Below Baseline
