Past final university projects
-Final master thesis defended in June 2013 at Department of Public Communications of Vytautas Magnus
University (Faculty of Political Science) and entitled “Public Communication of Renewable Energy in the Baltic
States: Participatory Approach”. This was an in-depth analysis based on qualitative methodologies on the
importance of the participatory model in the process leading to development of renewable energy and on the
acceptance of these green technologies by the population. The practical part of the research focused on the
formulation of considerations on the potential applicability of this approach to the Baltic context.
-Final bachelor thesis presented at the University of Genoa (Faculty of Political Science) and entitled “Alcohol
and young people: the case of Estonia”. This was a sociologic study written in Italian language on causes and
consequences concerning the relevant phenomenon of the youth drinking in Estonia. This work was based on
ethnographic and qualitative research methods that resulted in the realization of a small video documentary covering the analysed topic.
