Italiano: -ARE Verbs
o In Italian, there are three types of verbs.
Verbs that end in -are, verbs that end in -ere and verbs that end in -ire.
o We are working with regular verbs that end in -are.
That means that each verb that we learn will end in the letters -are.
o We will be working on verb conjugation.
Verb conjugation refers to how a verb changes to show a different person.
o Verb Conjugation for –are verbs steps below:
1) Remove the –are from the verb.
2) Then you are left with the stem of the verb.
3) For each person shown below in the chart (the pronouns),
there is a specific ending that needs to be added to the stem of the verb.
4) See the chart below for the endings for each pronoun.
