Instituto Antártico Chileno (INACH, Chile), and in Germany the Humboldt-Universität zu
Berlin, the Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and RWTH Aachen University on
dendrochronology, climatology and glaciology in Southern Patagonia and the Cordillera
Darwin is pleased to invite you to a conference and workshop to Berlin from 15th to 19th July
2017.
The official program will start with a reception on Friday, July 14th in the evening and
follow-up get-together and organized visiting program in Berlin and its surrounding on the

locations of recent glacial history in the area.
On Monday, 17th and Tuesday, 18th July, 2017, an open science meeting will be held, open
to everybody, with potentially sessions on

as well as other related topics.
The regional focus will be Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego and adjacent islands, the sub-Antarctic
islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. There will be ample possibilities to discuss contributions
