M IDI / M INI - B ACCARAT
The ancient game of Midi/MiniBaccarat (pronounced bah-kahrah) is played with eight decks
of cards in a “shoe.” The Dealer
controls the shoe at all times.
The object of the game is to
wager on the hand (Bank or
Player) which the Player feels will be closest to nine. The
highest hand is nine, the lowest hand is zero. The hand
closest to nine is the winner.
Face cards, tens, and any combination totaling ten have
a value of zero. Midi/Mini-Baccarat is a single digit
game: hands reaching ten or more are reduced to their
second digit. (For example: 1+2=3; 10+3=3, 9+4=3)
In Midi/Mini-Baccarat, there are two primary ways to bet:
on the Player’s hand or on the Bank’s hand. There is
also an option to make a wager on the Tie bet.
Each hand is dealt two cards from the shoe. The
Player’s hand is acted upon first, followed by the Bank’s
hand. If the rules call for a third card to be dealt, either or
both hands must take the third card. There are no
optional cards.
All bets must be made prior to the cards being dealt.
Bets are paid even money, and the house collects a 5%
commission on all winning Bank bets. Tie bets pay 8 to 1
odds.

DRAGON BONUS
Dragon Bonus is an optional side bet available on some
Baccarat games that pays when the Dragon Bonus bet
is a natural winner, or when it wins by at least four
points. The Dragon Bonus bet does not change the
drawing rules or commission structure of Baccarat in any
way.
5% commissions will be collected from winning Banker bets.
Make the Dragon Bonus wager by betting in the marked
area. You may bet either for the Player or Banker hand.
The casino may require you to also make a standard
Baccarat wager.
MIDI/MINI-BACCARAT RULES
PLAYING THE GAME
Natural: When the first two cards dealt to either Player
or the Bank total 8 or 9. Neither side may draw any more
cards.
Players have two ways to win:
1. When your selected hand for the Dragon Bonus
wager is a natural winner; or
No Bank Natural: The Player will always draw a card
when the first two cards total 5 or less. The Player will
stand when the first two cards total 6 or more.
2. When your selected hand wins by four or more
points. With non-natural winners, the larger the
margin of victory, the larger the payout.
No Player Natural: The Bank will always draw a card
when the first two cards total 2 or less. When the Player
stands on the first two cards, the Bank will draw on 5 or
less and stand on 6 or more.
