This walk is part of the KNOCKMEALDOWN
WAY the new linear path between Newcastle &
Ballyporeen. It is a low level walk at the
foothills of the Knockmealdown Mountains with
fantastic scenery.
The walk will be led by experienced walk
leaders. Please wear suitable footwear and bring
a waterproof jacket. It is a moderate walk with a
few small climbs, some fitness necessary. Not
suitable for buggies.
Registration at the Community Hall Newcastle between
1.45pm and 2.15pm
Transport will be provided to the starting point in
Goatenbridge departing Newcastle at 2.15 sharp.
Entry €10 per Adult - €10 per Family
Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult
