STEEL ROLLER SHUTTER APPLICATIONS
The TITAN , is a heavy duty rolling shutter door for industrial,
agricultural and commercial use for factories, warehouses, grain stores,
barns, workshops etc. A strong robust and reliable, traditional rolling
shutter door requiring little but periodic maintenance, hand built using
quality materials.
OPERATION
TITAN 1, electrically operated, powered by Guthrie Douglas safedrive
motor, a specially developed drive unit for powering roller shutters.
Each gearbox incorporates a seperate safety brake meeting the anti fall
back requirements and new British and European standards for
industrial and commercial doors, BS EN 12604:2002.
TITAN 2, a traditional hand chain and gear manually operated rolling
shutter door, gear operation is through steel machine cut reduction
gears and tested hand chain.
FINISH
Galvanised curtain and guides as standard, remainder primed for
painting by others.

Weather Seals.
Plastisol Colour Coated Lath.
Powder coat paint finish to standar d BS or RAL colour.

MAINTENANCE
Shutter doors are built to last and should give years of trouble free
service, a periodic maintenance programme will ensure a long life and a
door safe to use . Maintenance contracts ar e offered at installation.
SPECIFICATION
Curtain constructed from interlocking galvanised steel curly lath of a
gauge to suit the application and secured with rivot pressed endlocks,
counterbalanced by helical springs within the steel barrel (chain and
gear - Titan 2 door only). Barrel assembly mounted between steel end
plates, incorporating fixing angles, gearing mechanism for chain and gear
operation or mounting brackets for Guthrie Douglas safedrive motor
unit. Shutter curtain retained within steel side channels/guides of
suitable depth to suit opening width.
