All other application documents and materials should be submitted and managed
through the International Office of the home university of exchange students.
1) Application for admission with one photo (use designated form)

4) A letter of recommendation issued by an academic supervisor
5) Study plan (use designated form)
6) Photocopy of passport
7) Photocopy of birth certificate (in French or English)
The application should be consulted and processed between designated staff
members at home and host institutions, not on an individual basis.
* A minimum of the equivalent of 10/20 for every chosen course in the home
institute.
* A proof of French Language proficiency (minimum DELF B1 or TCF)
If a student did not take the DELF/TCF exam, but the Commission / Supervisor
thinks he/she has the required level in French, the recommendation letter must be
filled out by a student’s academic supervisor who garantee his/her command of
the French language.
Korean students seeking to study in Reunion should have a student visa which
can be obtained in the nearest French Embassy or Consulate. When applying for
a visa, students are required to submit a “Letter of Admission”, which will be
officially issued by the Université de La Réunion.
Korean students, when arriving in Reunion (DRI), should register at the OFII
(Office Français de l'Immigration et de l'Intégration).
Exchange Students are expected to arrive a few days before the start of each
semester according to the student residence schedule.

Academic Schedule
1) Students can apply directly for airport pick-up service at +262 262 488 383.
The fee is about 20 €.
2) Students can be welcomed at the airport if they wish and if they supply the
arrival day, hour and number of their flight (use designated form: announcement
of arrival to Reunion Island).
They should then report to the Direction of the International Relations (DRI), from
where they can call their family for free.
Opening hours of DRI service: from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and
1:30 pm - 5 pm.
When they register at Université de La Réunion, the foreign student has to
choose a social security center and pay the registration fee (about 215 €).
* At the accommodation service (CROUS), students coming with a university
agreement can benefit from an individual room if they provide the following
documents (downloadable on the Université de La Réunion website):
- accommodation application, (fiche de demande de logement)
- housing contract, (contrat d’hébergement)
- IT charter, (charte informatique)
- housing rules and regulations (and its appendix) (règlement intérieur et son
annexe)
These documents must be sent by postal mail and e-mail ([email protected]).
* Students with a university agreement will be accommodated in the following
residences, depending on the room availability and the duration of their stay:
- Cité Internationale (rent 231 € - deposit 280 €)
* Upon arrival at the accommodation service (CROUS), students with a university
agreement must pay the deposit, the rent for the first three months, plus an
