The Perfume Bottle Quarterly (PBQ)
This excellent and highly informative 24 plus page full color

perfume bottles, people, literature reviews, trade events,
rare and unusual items, classified ads, Association news, and
more. The PBQ is the essential
tool to staying current on perfume bottle collecting, events,
research, and people.
The Why, Where and How of Perfume
WHY: Perfume bottle collecting is a very personal adventure. The variation in perfume bottles is endless in material, style, shape and original use. Each bottle added to one’s
collection contributes information to the never-ending
story of fragrances, their containers, and their use. Also
very collectible are related items, such as ephemera (paper,
history, advertisements), vanity items (powder containers,
trinket holders), purses and associated items (compacts,
solid perfumes, lipsticks, mirrors).

The IPBA Website
WHERE: Perfume bottles turn up in the likely and very
unlikely places: antique shops, eBay and other internet
websites, auctions, attics, basements. The entire global
community is now at your fingertips via your connection
to the wonderful-world-wide-web!
The Annual Directory
Listing members alphabetically and geographically, with
collecting interests, the Directory will help you keep in
touch with more than a 1000 members globally.
www.perfumebottles.org was very recently re-designed
and now hosts a Virtual Museum of member bottles
across all specialty groups. It also provides convention
and membership information, a PBQ article bibliography, and useful links for the perfume bottle collector.
There is also a “Members Only” section for more topics
and information that is unavailable to the general public. A calendar of events is also a unique venue to explore
upcoming and exciting happenings in the perfume bottle collecting world.
HOW: Each collector decides which perfume bottles or
related items ignite such intense feelings of joy that they
must simply be acquired and treasured. How to collect is
a very personal experience!
