Aukštaitija, Dzūkija, Žemaitija and Suvalkija.
Our district belongs to Suvalkija.
Suvalkija’s capital is Marijampolė, that is 24 kilometres from
Vilkaviškis.

GRAŽIŠKIAI
Gražiškiai is a small town in Vilkaviškis
district, 24 kilometres away from
Vilkaviškis.
It has about 400 inhabitants.
The place has a unique tradition called “Making
dance “Šyvis”, the horse”.

The first primary school in Gražiškiai was founded in 1623.
The present building was built in 1951,
later it was expanded.
Recently our school has been renovated
and is constantly being modernized.
In 2010 it gained the status of gymnasium.

Traditions of our school is one of the strongest points. We have been
working hard to achieve it and now we can state that it also
considerably adds to positive microclimate.
