SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Your birthday party experience will begin inside the Pine Room and last 45 minutes, during which time you may enjoy treats or open up
presents. Then we’ll head out to the PlayScape for 1 hour of activities. All materials must be removed from the Pine Room and taken to
vehicles as we head out to the PlayScape so the room can be set up for the next event.
PLAYSCAPE
• Dogs are not allowed in the PlayScape.
• Adults must remain inside the PlayScape with children at all times.
• Decorations are not permitted.
• There is a Port-O-Let near the PlayScape entrance, but no running water.
• The PlayScape cannot be rented for private parties.
PINE ROOM
• The Pine Room is not fully accessible—there are nine steps leading down to the room from the outside.
• All trash and recyclable materials must be taken home.
• Once you leave the Pine Room, you cannot get back in.
• Indoor restrooms are available near the Pine Room.
• We do not supply tablecloths.
• Parents may arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the party to set up—the Birthday Party Play Facilitator will be on hand to assist.
• Adults are responsible for ensuring their child(ren) respect the Pine Room and restroom facilities.
• Refrigeration is not available.
• There is room for 1 vehicle to park in the loading area next to the Rowe Visitor Center—we will provide a cart to help transport your
materials to the Pine Room.
GROUP REQUIREMENTS
Maximum of 15 children, between the ages of 3-11, and 15 adults (children 12 and older are counted in the adult limit). We require the
following minimum of adult chaperones, 18 or older, according to the ages below:
• Ages 3-5: 1 chaperone per 3 children.
• Ages 6-11: 1 chaperone per 5 children.
Maximum number of participants (adults and children) is 30. If there are less than 15 children, more adults can be present, as long as the
total number of people does not exceed 30.
BALLOON POLICY
Cincinnati Nature Center does not allow visitors or members to have balloons on the property for any reason, due to wildlife safety and
litter concerns.
PARTY FAVOR POLICY
CNC gift bags are available for an additional fee of $5 per bag (request at least 2 weeks in advance). You are also welcome to bring your
own party favors, but we ask that you do NOT include noise makers. The sound travels throughout the property and can be disturbing to
other visitors.
