This is the club’s main fundraiser for the year and we will need everyone’s support. Present Membership: 29 September 23rd Supplies $32 BOARD OF DIRECTORS Eldon Erickson (2011) Pam Stroklund (2012) Veronica Meyer (2013) Scott Knudsvig Roses are the same price as last year: $18 for dozen cello wrapped roses – a very nice choice - OR $25 for dozen professionally arranged roses in a beautiful vase The sales goal for this year is five dozen roses per Rotarian or a $50 donation to the club. There is a push for vase sales as they generate more income for the club. Dana will distribute cards and your contact list from past sales (if you participated th last year) at the upcoming Thursday, September 30 meeting. Remember though selling can start now! We had some issues last year and may receive some pushback this year on the overall quality. Please know that the 2010 rose sales are being ordered directly from MarketPlace Foods floral department this year (a new adventure for the fundraiser)! The roses will be shipped directly to the store and stored in the cooler upon arrival. This will be a huge help and fix to the issues some of the people had last year with the life of their roses! A few dates to mark down on your calendar now are: NEW MEMBER PROPOSAL Thursday, October 14 – Dana will need an estimated count of roses sold Niki Carlson has been proposed as a new member for the Sunrise Rotary Club by Brekka Kramer.
