Warranties
Most wood bats do not carry any warranty. Our wood composite bats carry a 3 month (90 day) replacement warranty, beginning from the date of
original purchase. Our product is a unique design that provides a bigger barrel hitting area and solid wood core for better performance, with an
extended bat life.
Receipts
It is very important to keep your Haag Bat receipt. You must provide a copy of your receipt if something happens to your bat during the warranty
period and you need to return it.
Returns
All HBC wood composite bats will need to be returned to our main manufacturing office in Parker, Colorado if there is a problem.
Compression or denting of the wood core or fiberglass fabric cracks are most common and can occur in any bat design that uses fiberglass
reinforcement. A bat will be replaced if the core is cracked or significant amount of fiberglass fabric is lost. With fiberglass bonded to the wood core
on the bat barrel, some compression and fiberglass shell cracking may occur with repeated hits in one spot.
Care
In order to preserve your bat life and to obtain peak performance, it is a good idea to rotate the bat 1/8 to 1/4 turn after each swing.
With this 100% fiberglass overlay design, you do not need to have the bat trademark up or down. This helps ensure that you do not hit the bat in the
same spot every time, causing the bat to wear unevenly.
Use
Sharing your new bat with other players will shorten its high performance lifetime. Many manufacturers will not replace a “Dead” composite bat or
one that has had excessive use. We recommend you treat your new wood composite bat as a high performance tool and use it in game situations only.
In order to help prolong your bat’s lifetime, we recommend you limit practice time with your new bat and if possible urge you to use an older bat in
practice situations.

Knob – Distance from knob end and handle taper is “dimension V” is ¾” (19.50mm).

Knob to Handle Taper – Amount of taper from knob to handle varies with each model bat.
– Traditional Bat Model 271 and HBC model 73C have a large degree of taper

Handle – “Dimension W” is a distance from knob base. The thickness or diameter at dimension W varies between models. This is the
thinnest area of bat handles.

between handle and barrel.

Our fiberglass bonded overlay covers each bat with a double layer on the handle and single layer on the barrel (100% coverage).

Coaches Fungos
It’s an art to properly hit a fungo
We have four (4) sizes and two (2) fungo models that are specialized for coaches hitting infield and outfield practice. All are groomed from the
finest pieces of maple hardwood. For the coaches that prefer the control of a light weight fungo (20 oz), Haag Bat Company offers the maple
fungo, with a skinny 2” barrel and small tapered knob. Our wood composite fungos use the same solid maple core and overall dimensions,
but offer longer life with the support of a single layer of fiberglass on each handle.
Haag Bat Company Fungos can be specialized with team colors and barrel laser engraving upon request. We target light weight maple
Fungos @ 20 ounces and our wood composite fungos @ 21 ounces. Our wood composite fungos have a 1 year replacement warranty.

Training Bats
One Hand Trainer
Hitters training to get swing timing with wood bats can utilize one handed hitting drills. This special training bat is a
training tool that can help a hitter find the sweet spot on a wood bat, plus teach hitters eye/hand coordination needed to
improve hitting performance. Haag Bat Company offers two sizes. The 18” one-hand trainer is typically used by youth
and high school players and 20” by college and professional level players.
Equal Weight Training Bats
Often called overload training bats, equal weight bats make batters work harder, which generates greater swing speed and
power. When working with equal weight training bats, players develop dynamic strength, which to a hitter means quickness
and power. It loosens your hitting muscles as it strengthens them. The hands, wrists, and arms benefit most from its use
during traditional soft toss and batting-T practice drills. Pre-puberty players should NOT consider heavier bats. Players can
also use weighted bats for training and on deck warm-up bats.

Long trainers and Equal Weight Bats

longer bat makes the hitter have to stay as short as possible to hit the sweet spot. This develops a short and compact swing for the
