Info to help you through Packet Pickup
and Race Day so you can enjoy a safe and
bouncy-fun time! Please take a moment

We’ll be holding Packet Pickup the day before the race on Friday, May 5th.
Those who come to Packet Pickup will receive a $5 merchandise credit to use
on our TGIR swag and a 20% off coupon to Dick’s Sporting Goods (coupon only
valid at packet pick up). If you cannot attend Packet Pickup, you can still pick
up your race packet 30 minutes prior to your wave time on Race Day.
We encourage everyone to come to Packet Pickup in order to avoid long lines

What you should bring:
Your race ticket with the QR code. (You can print your ticket or show it on your mobile device.) Extra cash or your credit card to buy some epic TGIR gear!
If you’re picking up race packets for your friends, either bring their race tickets or
a signed permission slip (found at the end of this Inflatable Info) saying that you can
pick up their packets.

8:30 AM - Runners begin to arrive
9:00 AM - First wave starts
11:00 AM - Final wave of runners starts

*Runners are sent every half hour at assigned wave times. Wave times can be found
on your ticket confirmation underneath the QR code.

PARKING
Parking will be available at Portland International Raceway. Parking is $5 if
bought at packet pick up and $10 per vehicle if purchased on event day. We encourage you to carpool or take public transportation where possible. Please be courteous to others, and watch for pedestrians in the parking lot and other areas. Remember, don’t get grumpy … this is supposed to be FUN!
We have a few requests below that will help you have a great time and enjoy a safe
event. Please review the rules with your friends before the event!
Arrival:
Please show up 30­-45 minutes before your scheduled wave to ensure you
can find parking and make your way to the start/finish area.
Shoes:
Cleats, pointy shoes and shoes with a lot of grip/edges ARE NOT PERMITTED­. If you are seen wearing these types of shoes you will be asked
to leave (without a refund).
Wristbands:
Each participant will receive a wristband.
You MUST WEAR YOUR WRISTBAND in order to participate in the race.
Dress Up:
We highly encourage wearing costumes, matching T­-shirts, tutus,
mohawks, wigs, etc. because it never hurts to spice things up a bit.
Waves:
Each wave is designed to go quickly and smoothly, but participants are
different on how fast they’ll go through an obstacle. Please be patient if
you do not immediately start at your designated wave time. We promise
everyone will get a turn.
Water:
There will be a water station roughly half way through the course and at the end of
the race. If you require additional water prior to crossing the finish line, we ask that
you bring your own water.
• Avoid colorful language. Remember, this is a family-friendly event.
• No alcohol is allowed at The Great Inflatable Race.
• Strollers are welcome, but please start at the back of your assigned wave group.
• Walkers on the right, runners on the left.
• Follow directions provided by security, medical staff, race officials and volunteers.
• Kids MUST be accompanied by their parents at all times.
• Throw away your own trash; please do not litter!
Race Cancellation/Refunds: A kind reminder that there are no refunds under any
circumstances for this event.
The Great Inflatable Race is typically a rain or shine event. Lightning, heavy rain or
high winds are a couple examples of weather conditions that may result in cancellation or delay of the event. Please come prepared for weather. RACE DAY DISCLAIMER: If the race is cancelled due to weather conditions and/or an act of God or a
participant is not able to participate the day of the event, we regret there will be NO
REFUNDS.

Did you know tutus make you run faster? It’s true!
We’ll have some awesome tutus available that will
make you fly through the race!

Everyone needs to look cool in shades while
running through giant inflatables! Pick up a pair
of The Great Inflatable Race sunglasses, and be
the coolest cat around.
Socks
Need we say more? Who doesn’t love an
awesome pair of crazy socks? Once you put our
socks on, you will be beaming with happiness…
In fact, you’ll be so happy you won’t need to run
the race. You’re welcome.

Our Inflatable Village contains additional inflatable fun for you and your family.
These inflatables are separate from the 8-10 inflatable obstacles along the race
course. The Inflatable Village has something for everyone! You can attempt your
skill on our Big Baller, joust with your friends and run through our dinosaur-themed
bouncy house!
Everyone can come into our Inflatable Village to check out our vendor booths and
visit with our charity partners. But to get your bounce on in the Inflatable Village,
you will need a VIP Race Ticket. You can also purchase passes to the Inflatable Village at our Registration tent for $15.
