ORDINANCE NO. 739
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE # 694 OF THE CITY OF
ROANOKE, ALABAMA PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION AND
DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE, TRASH, REFUSE, DEAD ANIMALS, FOWLS, AND
ALL THINGS OFFENSIVE TO HEALTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROANOKE, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS:
To provide for the amendments to the Garbage Ordinance # 694 to include the
following:
(a) Newly established deposit fees for residential and commercial customers.
(b) Agent for collection from Roanoke Utility Board to City of Roanoke.

(c) Newly established rate changes from $12.00 to $13.50 and to include newly
established commercial and business rates.
(d) To include the provision of using the container provided for by the City's
contractor.
This ordinance shall be in force and effective upon its passage and adoption
as provided by law:
