Union City Transit’s commuter service is
coordinated with BART trains, AC Transit
and the Dumbarton Express. Main transfer
points are at the South Hayward BART
station, the Dumbarton Bridge Park & Ride
and at Alvarado & Dyer in Union City.
Drivers carry no change. EXACT FARE required.

Union City Transit buses are all equipped with
lifts and wheelchair stations. Wheelchairs must
have working brake systems. Note: not all stops
are safe for deployment of the lift.
Monthly passes are sold at City Hall or by mail. For
standing orders, call 471-3232, ext. 373. Eligibility for
reduced fares and passes for seniors and the disabled can
be verified by a Regional Transit Discount Card, Alameda
County Gold Card, Medicare Card, or DMV Placard.
