On Thursday 26 February the author, Tim Bowler, will be visiting the school as our Joint
Abingdon Author visit for this year and your son will have the opportunity to hear him speak. Tim
has won the prestigious Carnegie Medal for River Boy as well as the Angus Book Prize and the
Lancashire Children’s Book Award and as well as being a talented author is also a riveting speaker.
