Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, IA Vice President, 1981 to 1985 In charge of the general welfare and vitality of the college (reported directly to the President). Served as spokesman for institutional needs, the quality of life and education in and outside the classroom. Responsible for policy, long-range planning, budget and personnel for 16 administrative units. Also served as primary liaison between the college and the educational market it served. Further responsibilities included developing articulation agreements with professional schools and community colleges, plus administrative development and training programs for all personnel, creation and administration of a campus-wide performance evaluation system, and operational control in the absence of the President. Gannon University, Erie, PA Director of Student Living, 1976 to 1981 Responsible for planning, developing, supervising, and administration of Business Affairs programs in the areas of security, custodial, maintenance, conference coordinator, vending, and food services (reporting directly to the vice president of student personnel and vice president of business affairs).
