News from the Programs
Woodland Summer House
At Woodland Summer House we have seen many new faces joining our crew
and we wish to welcome our newly promoted Program Manager, Roxana, as
well as our new Advocates, Isabel and Alyssa! We have several residents
enjoying new day programs, several headed out for traveling adventures, and
the rest hard at work. We have been busy with fall preparations and
decorations, and of course, getting ready for the holidays!
Davis Summer House
P.O. Box 1724, Woodland, CA 95776
Recently, the Davis Summer House has been hard at work on their new
masterpiece, shown next to this. They just kicked off the holiday season with
“spirit week” and are gearing up for their spooky Halloween party. We want to
congratulate Jeff and Amy on their Special O medals. We are happy to
welcome our newest resident, Stassi, to our home!
Community Living Program
Community Living Program has been hopping with travel plans and the
holidays upcoming. It’s been a busy summer and fall for our folks, with many
people moving to new apartments and several people being featured in an
article in the Sac Bee newspaper! CLP is gearing up with big plans for a
Holiday Party thanks to the generous donations we have received this year.
Supported Living Services Program
Many of our clients in SLS have been busy traveling in recent months.
McKenna is just back from an exciting Disneyland trip and Chris just returned
from camping! Esteban has been getting in shape and participating in many fun
runs this summer and fall. Great job! We also had many of our in house
activists participate in a recent rally at the Crest Theater and march to the
Capital.
