Hurricane Katrina Bible Codes Matrix

In late August of 2005, hurricane Katrina devastated Louisiana and Southern Mississippi, and
especially New Orleans whose Ninth Ward had water up to the roof lines. As of January 18, 2006 the
official death toll is 1417, with 3200 people still unaccounted for. About 230 of the fatalities were in
Mississippi, 12 in Southern Florida, and the rest in Louisiana. Over 1.5 million people were displaced
by Katrina, and 3 million were left without electricity.
Hurricane Katrina approached New Orleans as a
category 5 hurricane with 175 mph sustained winds at
7am on August 28, 2005; and it made landfall in
Louisiana at 6:10am on August 29, 2005 as a category 3
hurricane with 125 mph sustained winds. Surprisingly, it
turned slightly to the East and weakened within the 24
hours before landfall. That was a very fortunate turn of
events for New Orleans. Although Katrina became the
most costly hurricane in history (estimated $100 billion
in damages, next highest was Andrew in 1992 with
damages of $45 billion in 2005 dollars), had the storm
struck New Orleans as a category 5 hurricane, the
damage would have been much higher—maybe even
totally wiping out New Orleans as a city forever.
Katrina formed as a hurricane in the area of the Bahamas on August 23, 2005, and crossed over
Southern Florida just north of Miami as a category 1 hurricane. It spawned several tornadoes and led

to 12 fatalities in Florida. Once in the extremely warm waters of the southern Gulf of Mexico, it
quickly grew in size and intensity. The graphic here shows the surface water temperatures existing
when Katrina was in the Gulf of Mexico.
Current hurricane theory posits that extremely warm water
at the surface feeds energy into the hurricane and strengthens
it. That's the reason we don't have hurricanes all year round,
since colder waters do not feed energy into tropical storms but
keeps them small and harmless. Another newer theory is that
the electrical interaction between the sun and earth feeds
energy into a hurricane from above. Of course, we could find
out in the future that both play a part in hurricane formation
and intensification.
New Orleans actually came through the 125 mph
winds of the hurricane reasonably well until the levees
breached in a number of places. A huge empty steel
barge in Lake Pontchartrain broke free and was blown
like a frisbee across the lake and created a huge
rupture of the levee. Additionally, in other places the
levees had insufficient deep moorings and the wet
earth actually became plastic-like, and slid the levee
20-35 feet and opened up ruptures.
Was the USA federal government responsible for the
poor levees? Actually, during the Clinton Administration, over $65 million extra dollars were
authorized to rebuild and strengthen the levees in New Orleans. However, the Louisiana State
legislature and City of New Orleans opted to use that federal money to build new gambling casinos

and their related infrastructure (pierside) in New Orleans. None of the money was actually used to
improve the levees in New Orleans. I guess they decided that gambling casinos would permanently
increase money going to their coffers and that they could later improve the levees.
We all saw the extensive TV News coverage of the
Katrina aftermath, where some 25,000 less mobile people
of New Orleans sought refuge to ride out the hurricane in
the Superdome. Although the Superdome lost part of the
roof covering, it still provided good shelter from the
storm. The picture on the left is from the elevated
expressway passing near the Superdome.
Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans and Governor
Kathleen Blanco of Louisiana shouted that the USA
federal government had failed in their duties. Mayor Nagin said, “How come there were no buses to
take these people out?” Yet, the clear evidence is that Mayor Nagin and his staff are the ones who
failed during the crisis.
Notice in the picture on the right, that there were ~450 city and school buses
only a half mile from the Superdome sitting unused and under water. Only the
tops of the buses are showing. These buses were sufficient to have taken all
25,000 people in the Superdome out of the city before the hurricane hit. And
what was Mayor Nagin's excuse? He said that the poor of New Orleans deserved
comfortable buses with cushioned seats to evacuate them, like those used by
tour companies or Greyhound, and besides no one had told him he needed to
schedule drivers to evacuate people. He was the mayor, and it was his
responsibility. He failed, mainly because the levees had never broken before; so he and his staff were
lulled into not taking decisive action to evacuate, but rather decided to ride it out.

In the aftermath, there were 25,000 people in the Superdome with no electricity and little water or
food. Yet the State and FEMA responded fast, moving in truckloads of water and food which were on
pallets on the elevated interstate only a half mile from the Superdome, within 24-36 hours. FOX and
other newscasters showed the food and water which was being heavily guarded by direction of
Governor Kathleen Blanco. Her direct order was NOT to distribute any food or water to those in the
Superdome, because she wanted to move them out of the New Orleans area. The food and water sat
there close by under heavy guard while the people in the Superdome suffered.
On TV newscasts, we were told that there was widespread lawlessness, killing and raping going
on in New Orleans. However, this too turned out to be a huge exaggeration. The area-wide morgue
for New Orleans reported later that less than 10 people died of gunshot wounds (I believe the final
figure was 6 deaths due to gunshot wounds). Therefore, the reports of gangs shooting many people
was a total fabrication. Likewise, the police never lost total control in the Superdome, and reports of
murders and rapes there were greatly exaggerated. Yes, maybe one happened, but how can one crime
turn into 10's and hundreds on TV newscasts? The TV newscasters just made it up and spread
rumors, although Mayor Nagin likewise repeated these rumors initially. Later, he said it was incorrect
and apologized. The fact is that the TV newscasters slandered the people of New Orleans and other
hard hit areas by passing off untrue rumors as fact, when in fact most people there acted far more
responsibly than portrayed.
My purpose in telling the true story about hurricane Katrina and the aftermath is to warn you that
when large natural catastrophes occur, you need to be self-sufficient while providing aid to others
when possible. The city, state or national government is not going to magically rescue you and make
it all better immediately. Worldwide, when people are confronted with catastrophe, they are prepared
and pitch in to help. Those who have at least a couple of days of water and food are able to take care
of themselves and not be a burden on the system. Is it really so difficult to have water and food (that
can be prepared or eaten when there is no electricity) on hand for a week or two when things are in
chaos? In the old days, every family had these basics covered.

The “Berkey” water filter system works by gravity and can turn water from a stream,
lake, pond or river into pure drinking water. One can even use mud puddle water and get
pure drinking water (units cost $150-300 depending on the model, I have the Big Berkey
shown on the right) by running it through the Berkey. This system will provide anyone with
unlimited pure drinking water as long as you have a source of impure water to filter. With
the Berkey system, one does not need large water barrels.
Likewise, one can obtain an inexpensive solar oven for ~$150 (Sport
Model) and up with reflectors, that will enable cooking meals and heating
water for no cost when the electricity is out, as long as there is sunshine
(Global Solar Oven on right at ~$200). The Global Solar Oven gets to 300400 degrees F. I recommend these two inexpensive means to provide for
yourself and others in case of catastrophes. With a Berkey water filter and
solar oven, then food becomes less of a problem, since one can cook or bake
anything available. With just the above and a 5-lb bag of flour, one can make
fresh made flat pan biscuits for a couple of weeks. Lentils and beans are
easily cooked and store for a long time as does rice. With the Berkey filter for water and a solar oven,
you can have a very inexpensive food store that will provide for your needs for an extended period of
time. Think about it and use the internet to find a best deal on the Berkey and solar oven (shop
wisely, prices on the same item varies greatly on the internet). We live in interesting times; and large
scale natural catastrophes seem to be increasing. Be proactive!
Now to the meat of the issue, what was my intention in doing a Bible code matrix on hurricane
Katrina? I did not just want to find out whether there would be a very descriptive matrix on Katrina,
but wanted to find out whether a matrix on it would reveal some new interesting things. At the end of
the article, I also have an X-Files type motive on possible use of scalar waves to steer the hurricane.
This concept arose after reading articles by LtColonel (retired) Tom Bearden and others who provide
scientific evidence and anecdotal stories that the USA and certain other countries do have the

capability to augment and steer large storms (Russia has openly boasted about it). Would a Bible
code matrix shed any light on this X-Files type scenario? Maybe.
To buttress my view
that New Orleans
came out better than
was expected, look at

on August 28, (just 8

dropped to 125 mph

call them “lucky”.
The slight turn to the
East

in the Bible code matrix that follows—that is the weakening and turning.
To initially locate the correct matrix, I used the Hebrew spelling for Katrina (‫ )קתרינה‬used in all

Israeli newspapers and magazines. Another researcher, Moshe Shak, follows an antiquated rule
where the “t” in Katrina has to be a tet instead of a tav because ultra-orthodox Jews believe the tav is
more holy and it cannot be applied to names of non-Jews. Even though all Israeli newspaper articles
used the tav for “t” in Katrina, Moshe persists in this rule. As you will see, the following matrix is far
better than his, and that's because of his incorrect rule for spelling a name (you can see Moshe's
simpler matrix in a recent edition of the free Bible Code Digest newsletter on their site). I mention
this issue of name transliteration spelling, because I want to dissuade people from following Moshe's
rules in spelling names, which continually is proven incorrect (I am not citing this issue to embarrass
him, since he is a nice person and does have a lot of good advice to offer Bible code researchers).
I also looked for the words hurricane (‫)הוריקנ‬, USA, 24 Av and the day before and after (23 and
25 Av), the year 5765 (‫)התשסה‬, and the term “they shot” (‫ )ירו‬related to gang shootings in the
hurricane aftermath. These were sufficient terms to find the correct matrix. My search text was the
Torah (first 5 books of the Bible), and I used a toroidal Torah search (where the text is a circle and
not a straight line). I mention the procedure to find the correct matrix, because it helps to have a
sufficient number of terms to quickly identify the correct matrix. We then assume that this matrix
will have all the necessary additional terms to flesh out the matrix (since we are not of those who
wonder whether the Bible code is true—we know it is true). It's all a matter of matrix development
from this initial finding.
The initial term “Katrina” turned out to be a gold mine when expanded. It told us that the turning
of the hurricane and weakening were as a result of mercy. Mercy due to what? Perhaps the prayers of
God's people.
From this term, it appears that the drop off in intensity is by the hand of God, as is the slight turn
from a direct hit on New Orleans. I will explain the usages here for one term, so that you can see it is

proper Hebrew. The first word is “takhon” which is a Qal 2ms imperfect meaning “you will be
merciful” from the root word “khanan”, and attested as a spelling in Psalms 59:6. The second word is
a Qal 2ms passive participle “nashul” meaning, “dropping off”. The third word is “avvi” which is a
Piel 2fs Imperative meaning “Turn!” from the root word “avah”. Grammatically, the word usages
and spellings are correct; and gender usages match the verbs. More important though, the meaning of
the main term confirms what we actually witnessed concerning hurricane Katrina—the dropping off
in strength of the storm and turning in the 8 hours prior to landfall. I think the main term extensions
supremely witness to the existence of the Bible code (for those who are skeptics). If this were
randomness, then we would not expect to find extensions that accurately describe what took place
with hurricane Katrina (if we were able to extend it at all).
The following page is the Katrina matrix report, which shows
all the terms in the matrix. I arranged the terms in the matrix
report so that general terms are at the top and those X-File type
terms are grouped together at the bottom. There are plenty of
terms in both categories. One should not think that the matrix as
developed comprises all possible terms in the matrix. I merely
stopped developing it at this point since it shows enough to
clearly make the desired points. Following the matrix report, I
will discuss and explain the terms as necessary.
The graphic on the right is hurricane Katrina taken by NASA
satellite on the afternoon of 28 August, 2005, about 12 hours
before landfall. The eye of the hurricane is distinct. At that time
sustained winds were 175 mph; and it was a category 5
hurricane. Note the tremendous size where the Yucatan
Peninsula of Mexico is affected in the south, and LA, MS and
AL are already receiving storm effects in the north.

It's amazing the depth of knowledge shown in this hurricane Katrina matrix. On the 24th of Av
(29 August) Katrina made landfall and the waves rose to destroy (3rd term), both from the Gulf of
Mexico and in Lake Pontchartrain. On the 25th of Av we learned that there was a major breach in the
levees on Lake Pontchartrain caused by the large steel barge that flew across the lake like a frisbee
and made a big opening in the levees. It truly was the beginning of a schedule of woes for New
Orleans (4th term). The next term (term 5) addresses the state of the people affected (their beliefs),
inferring that they are a people from rebellion. Isn't it true that New Orleans was always known as a
place where voodoo, witchcraft and open homosexuality flourished? It states that God (Yah) waited
for them (a long time?) to turn from their ways; and hurricane Katrina was a judgment against them.
Meni is the ancient god of destiny (this is the way we are and will always be, attitude); and hurricane
Katrina was meant to permanently change the people there (by driving out Meni).
The matrix continues to answer important questions concerning the “why” of Katrina. Term 6
states: “And the rod, lift up! Why this people? And he will empty it.” The rod of judgment was
applied and New Orleans was emptied. The question for us to answer is, “Why this people?” The
answer is apparent that it was due to their voodoo, witchcraft, rebellion from God, and open
homosexuality—all the attributes for which New Orleans is known. But why southern Mississippi
too? Perhaps it is because of the growing casino gambling and its attendant rise in other corruption
due to gambling casinos? Isn't the spirit of gambling one of putting your money down to take a
chance for “destiny” (false god Meni)? Terms 7, 8, 9 and 10 are self evident—Katrina was huge and
a waymark, the hurricane certainly affected the USA, a question, and a year term. Terms 11 and 12
seem to be about the levees breaking, where the foundations of the canal levees failed because of
insufficiently deep moorings along the connecting canals. It certainly began happening on 25 Av
(evening of 29 August to the evening of 30 August).
Term 13 notes that the inhabitants of the affected areas were forced to take action on 26 Av due to
extensive flooding, when the river and Lake Pontchartrain flooded extensive areas following the
levee breaches. The Ninth Ward had water up to the roof lines, and there was widespread looting.

Term 14 notes that there was shooting taking place (by a few gangs), and the entire nation lamented
the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. Term 15 seems to indict Mr. Brown, the head of FEMA for
inserting offense with a cavalier attitude and his concern for appearing as a “fashion plate” rather
than concentrating on rescues and emergency aid. The affected area tottered with thousands needing
rescue by small boat from the attics and rooftops; and 25,000 people were in the Superdome without
electricity, food, water and without much hope. (note: the matrix graphic is at the very end).
X-Files Type Terms
Where did I get this notion that hurricane Katrina might have been artificially enhanced and
steered? And what would be the objective to do so? Perhaps to disrupt the economy of the USA by
striking where many oil refineries and gas and oil wells are located?
The “artificial enhancement and steering” scenario arose from 3 different sources. LtCol (retired)
Tom Bearden's website has material about the use of scalar electromagnetics as weapons to affect the
climate. Among others, he cites the following from a 1997 speech by Secretary of Defense William
Cohen:
“Others [terrorists] are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby
they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through
the use of electromagnetic waves… So there are plenty of ingenious minds
out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon
other nations…It's real,...
Secondly, Scott Stevens was a professional meteorologist for 9 years and began to catalog strange
weather phenomena as a result of scalar wave technology. On his website, WeatherWars.info, he
shows extensive pictures comparing normal clouds to the strange looking ones affected by scalar
waves. This may seem “way out there”; but there is evidence, in addition to Russian boasts in news
articles, that they had this technology.

Thirdly, Richard C. Hoagland on his
EnterpriseMission.com website, in the Captain's
Blog for Sept. 26 and Oct. 18, 2005 shows
extensive evidence of possible use of scalar
waves in regards to both hurricane Katrina and
hurricane Rita.
The graphic on the right is for hurricane Rita
from the University of Wisconsin's CIMSS
center, and shows an electronic fence in place
(the 5 markers west of the hurricane). If you
remember, Rita was headed to Galveston and
then Houston, however, it stalled slightly and
then headed north. The markers appear to be a
fence to steer the hurricane and prevent it from
going to Galveston or Houston. There are similar
type effects seen for hurricane Katrina.
The graphic on the next page is for hurricane Katrina. It shows what appears to be a marker or
fence on the NW side of the hurricane. The blue columns show rain intensity, and that is another way
to discern a scalar electromagnetic fence, when there is a big group as in the area NW of Katrina. Is
this concept real? We really don't know for sure; but since Russia boasted a few years ago—when
there was a severe drought and forest fires in Indonesia—that they could create a monsoon to put out
the forest fires (for a price). No one took them up on it—maybe it was too costly. Check out Tom
Bearden's website, Scott Stevens' website, and the Enterprise Institute website for more information
on the concept. But the question arises, “does the Katrina Bible code matrix show any evidence for
this concept of artificial enhancement?” The answer is yes.

In developing the matrix,
I did not expect to find
evidence for this X-Files
type scenario; but it seemed
like a interesting offbeat
thing
to
investigate.
However, terms 16-23 all
seem to corroborate artificial
enhancement.
Term 16 shows there is
an enemy of the USA whose
intent is to destroy her. The
question then arises, “is this
enemy negative spiritual
forces or is it another
country or an international
group outside the USA?”
Term 17 further identifies
this “enemy of the USA”
who has a bitter attitude towards the USA, and that they make it (the hurricane). I am guessing on
what the “enemy of bundled knowledge” means, although the internet seems like a good choice.
Term 18 says, “they struck, seizing the secular pride of the USA.” This further indicates to me that it
is another country using earthbound technology to enhance and steer the hurricane.
Term 19 shows two different voices speaking. Taking into account earlier terms, the voice that
says, “Enough! Not those who trust me,” identifies that voice as God who showed mercy and
weakened the storm and turned it. Those who trust in me identifies Christians and observant Jews in

the area affected. Ominously, the other voice is the enemy who attacked and says “with all” he
attacked the nation. Term 20 starts out with the enemy saying, “we struck.” Then it goes on to say
that he (God) restrains the hurricane on 25 Av. Remember, in an 8 hour period the hurricane dropped
from 175 mph to 125 mph sustained winds and turned slightly.
Term 21 tells us the enemy “transmitted,” which is in accordance with our theory of artificial
enhancement of the hurricane using scalar electromagnetic waves. Further, it states that the enemy
who did this expressed public sympathy (phony sympathy) over the levees failing and the extensive
damage. Term 22 indicates it saturated the USA, and this may be rainfall; or it may indicate the
creation of terror/fright concerning the loss of life and property. In a large area, hurricane Katrina
certainly deformed the landscape, creating $100 billion in damages. The last term (23) tells us the
result of the enemy's actions—laying waste the land, killing people, and creating fear/terror. Also, it
tells us the hurricane was intentionally driven and turned (artificially).
Summary: I started out on this matrix thinking it would disprove the theory that some group or
country could enhance and steer a hurricane with devastating results. However, I think the matrix
strongly indicates to me that someone did. The question is, “who?”
The answer for “who”: LtCol Tom Bearden states that 10 nations have the scalar technology to
modify weather to some degree. The theories bandied around propose that Russia has furthest
developed the technology, but may have sub-leased it to the Yakuza (Japanese mafia), or the Aum
Shinrikyo (apocalyptic cult who used sarin gas on the subways in Japan in 1995) for millions of
dollars so as not to have their fingerprints on the act. This theory cites some deep-seated Japanese
resentment (not by the Japanese government) against the USA for WW2 by the wealthy Yakuza
mafia. The Aum Shinrikyo motive is to initiate the apocalypse—a central belief of the their cult and
the reason they used sarin gas on the subways in 1995. While these theories seem so far out there as
to be ridiculous, I decided to look for Russia, Yakuza, and Aum Shinrikyo in the Katrina Bible code
matrix. I did not find Yakuza or Aum Shinrikyo at all in the matrix; however, “Russia” ‫רוסיה‬,

crossed the matrix above and below the main term. That presence in the matrix doesn't necessarily
mean we have a guilty verdict for Russia.
Term 24: ‫שמו התו רוסיה ותו אפ בר‬
translation: They formed/established the sign/mark of Russia and the sign/mark of clear anger.
Term 25: ‫מר רוסיה ובה העשת מקלי‬
translation: Russia is bitter; and against her (USA) is the one who applies/commits my rod (God's
judgment).
Neither of these two additional terms are shown in the matrix or matrix report; because I pondered
whether I really wanted to show them. Do they show that Russia probably did it? Yes. Am I 100%
sure of that accusation? No. However, they seem to clearly show that Russian weather manipulation
enhanced and steered hurricane Katrina. Perhaps this explains the terrible hurricane season in Florida
in 2004; and in 2005, the odd movements of Ophelia as well as Katrina and Rita striking where there
are many oil refineries and oil & gas wells in the Gulf of Mexico.
Odds: The matrix odds (if all terms were a priori, which they are not) are 1 chance in 3.8 times 10 to
the 330th power (based on total matrix R-value of 330.582).
