To Kill a Mockingbird dominoes

To Kill a Mockingbird dominoes
Instructions
1. Photocopy, laminate and cut up the cards.
2. Randomly distribute them around the class, ensuring
that the teacher’s card (shaded grey) is kept by the
teacher. Any spare cards should be given to students
who can cope with more than one, or kept by the
teacher.
3. Explain to students that the answers are on the
second half of the domino card. When they hear a
question to which they think they know the answer,
they should shout it out. If they are correct, they then
read out the question on the first half of the card.
4. If the game ‘breaks down’ because the answer has
not been recognised, the class should discuss what
the answer might be so that the student can
recognise their answer.
5. The game ends when all questions and answers have
been read out—this should be when the teacher
reads out the answer from their card, which began the
game.
