Recreation and Leisure
Master Plan
An update was presented by Martin Pardoe.
A copy of the most recent draft version, with 20 sections, was handed out. There
is still work to be done in various sections. Approximately 90% of intended content
is in current version of the document. 2.0 is an added new section: Sense of
Place…the Whistler Experience.
Meadow Park Front Desk An update by Roger Weetman regarding the front desk renovation occurring at

the Meadow Park Sports Centre.
Meadow Park Sports
An overview of the scope of the study and a summary from the initial startup and
Centre Feasibility Update site tour meeting with the consultant team regarding the Meadow Park Sports
Centre Feasibility was presented by Roger Weetman.
Terms of Reference
Update
An outline of the process was given by Roger Weetman. Council will review the
proposed changes for consideration. Until approval is received, appointments will
remain a one year term and request for applications will be advertised in the near
future.
Five Year Financial Plan
Update
An update on the Five Year Financial Plan was provided by Martin Pardoe. All
committee members are encouraged to review the Economic Partnership Initiative
Report, http:/www.whistler.ca/epi.

A discussion regarding the next scheduled meeting for the Recreation & Leisure
Advisory Committee.
