Monday, October 23, 2017 - Golden Circle:
Today, our incredible full-day excursion, the classic Golden
Circle Tour, will combine natural and historical wonders. We’ll
visit the magnificent Gullfoss Waterfall and the exploding
hot springs of Geysir, plus the UNESCO World Heritage Site
at Þingvellir National Park - home of the Viking Parliament
and over 1,000 years of history. This evening enjoy a night
on your own in Reykjavik. Overnight at Radisson 1919 in

Tuesday, October 24, 2017 - South Shore Adventure:
Enjoy a day full of unique and stunning landscapes, this time
to Iceland’s breath-taking southern shore. The day is filled
with unforgettable views from sheer sea cliffs to rolling plains
and spectacular waterfalls to volcanoes. Afternoon arrival in
Selfoss. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Selfoss. (B, D)
Friday, October 20, 2017 - Depart the USA: Fly non-stop
overnight from Newark, NJ to Keflavik Airport, Iceland.
Meet your AAA tour manager at the Newark Airport prior to
departure. (Air from Dulles International Airport available on
request).
Saturday, October 21, 2017 - Arrival – Blue Lagoon –
Reykjavik Sightseeing: This morning we begin our Icelandic
journey, as we are greeted by our friendly knowledgeable
local guide. We transfer to breakfast in a nearby fishing
village, then visit the unique wonder of nature, the Blue
Lagoon, where we’ll enjoy the amazing warm mineral-rich
geothermal water in the middle of a black lava field. Towels
and lockers are included at this modern facility. Next, it’s on
to our Reykjavik City Orientation Tour including the Old Town
Centre, the Parliament, the cathedral, harbor, a sculpture Wednesday, October 25, 2017 - Day at Leisure: Enjoy a
park and more. After check-in, the rest of the day is at your full day at leisure. You may explore on your own or chose
an optional excursion, such as a snowmobile or jeep tour.

does require some walking.) Iceland’s average daily temperatures in October are highs around 43 degrees and lows to
30 degrees. The number of hours during which the Sun is visible in October is 7-8 hours.
