1. PHYSICAL CHANGE - change in which the form or appearance of matter changes, but not its composition.
2. CHEMICAL CHANGE - change in which the composition of a substance changes.
3. PHYSICAL PROPERTY characteristics that can be observed without changing or trying to change the

4. CHEMICAL PROPERTY - characteristic that cannot be observed without altering the sample.
5. COMPOUND - a pure substance that is made up of two or more elements that have be bonded together
chemically.
6. MIXTURE - two or more substances that are combined but not chemically bonded.
