HOW TO MEASURE AND ORDER YOUR NEW LAWN
To accurately measure the planned lawn area, you should adopt the following method…Length x
Width = M2 (Square Metres). i.e. 7M x 5M = 35M2. Always add 5% extra for any cut-offs that
cannot be reused.
But we know that not all gardens are simple in shape. If the lawn isn’t straightforward in shape

Conversion Table
1 Foot = 0.3048 Metre (length)
1 Square Foot = 0.0929 Meters Squared (area)
1 Square Yard = 0.8361 Meters Squared (area)
1 Square Meter = 1.196 Square Yard (area)
We recommend that you only order your turf when all of the ground has been prepared and also
more importantly especially in the summer months that you have adequate irrigation. Turf is a living
product and is perishable and should be laid on the day of delivery where possible during hot
periods.
