Digital windspeed in 4 modes: Present, Peak Gust and Direction (since last reset), Average Windspeed and Direction (since last reset), and Forecast (compares current and previous 12-minute averages to see trends). User-selectable units of measurement for speed (MPH, Knots, km/h or m/s). Silver or black dial face. Supplied with cables, AC adapter, outside sensors and hardware. LIFEBOAT COMPASS Compass in sturdy wooden box. Magnetic, liquid-filled, compensating. Comes with mounting and light. “BTC” HANDHELD ANEMOMETER An analog model, “BTC” is self-powered, using the rotation of its cups to register 0-35 MPH or 0-70 MPH (also scaled 0-30 Knots and 0-60 Knots). Jeweled meter movement. Select high or low range with push button. 15/8" x 2" x 33/4" high with 53/4" diameter cup assembly. Both Handheld anemometers feature folding cups that collapse for compact storage; and each comes with a custom carrying case. To determine wind speed, simply open the folded cups and hold the instrument in a wind current. Unlike fan-type handheld anemometers that must be aimed precisely into the wind, accuracy of these instruments is not affected by their orientation. WIND SPEED ALARM WITH DUAL SET POINTS Dual set point Wind Alarm operates on 12-volt DC power and provides both warning for and control of wind sensitive equipment. Alerts user to high or low wind speeds and can be factory calibrated in MPH, km/h or Knots. If windspeed hits or exceeds thumb-wheel switch settings for 3 seconds, lights illuminate, buzzer sounds and internal SPDT relays activate. 4.72" x 3.29" x 6.3" high polycarbonate case is weather-tight. Non micro-processor circuit minimizes latch-up. Accurate to ±2 MPH. Includes sensor, cable, stub-mast and mounting hardware. AC adapter optional.
