Mysimpleshow Mysimpleshow is a web-based animated video creator. Each video contains animated graphics and narration. Step-bystep prompts and guides make creating a unique high-quality video very simple. Users input the script by text or uploading a PowerPoint file. Mysimpleshow analyzes the script for key words and imports corresponding images. Users can add their own voice narration or choose a computer-generated voice. Finished videos can be downloaded or shared using YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia. Create a free account at https://www.mysimpleshow.com/ by clicking Sign up for free. Click Create new video. Write the script 1. Users can choose to write the narration script from scratch or upload an existing PowerPoint file. 2. Write your own script method a. Click Write your own Script. b. Choose a storyline template or create a project from a blank template. Each template contains questions and examples to help create and organize the script. c. 3. Click on each textbox to add script text. The text will serve as narration for the video. Uploading PowerPoint method a. Click Upload a PowerPoint file. b. Drag and drop the PPT file to the upload window or click the link to search for the file. The file must contain less than 20 slides. c. Text from the PPT will be transferred to the script. Some editing may be required. 1 Adding visuals 1. From the script page, click Choose visuals. 2. Mysimpleshow will analyze the script for keywords and import corresponding images. Keywords will be underlined. 3. If an alternative image is desired, click on each image to open additional options. You can choose a different suggested image, use the search feature to find additional images, exchange the image for text, or upload your own image. 4. When all images have been chosen, click the pencil icon on each screen to arrange, resize or flip the images. Click the Play Arrow on each screen to preview the animation. 5. Adding audio 1. When satisfied with the images selected, click Choose Audio. 2. To use a computerized text-to-speech voice, choose the voice and video speed. Subtitles can also be included in the video. 3. To record your own voice, click the Voice tab and the Record Your Own option. Click the microphone icon for each slide to record the narration. 4. When finished, click Finalize Video. 5. Finalizing the video will take some time. Mysimplehow will send you an email when the project is finished. Sharing a video 1. To download or share a finished video, click Export or Publish. 2. The project can be published to YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia or downloaded as an mp4 file. Things to consider Although the ability to import an existing PowerPoint file is beneficial, it often requires extensive editing of the text and combining of slides. In some instances it may be easier to start a project from scratch.
