Dear LCS Family,
After twenty one years of serving the Lord at LCS, He has made it clear to me and my
family that it is time to conclude my teaching career at Loudonville. I am so grateful to
all of you who have helped make LCS my home over the years. When I began my
ministry here in 1996, the high school was in its first year, with just a small freshman
class. In 1997, three of my children joined the LCS family as 2nd, 4th and 6th graders. The
next year, my husband Wally and our youngest daughter came along, and we became the
other (along with the Camilleris) “LCS dynasty.” All four of our children graduated from
LCS, and each one would tell you that the education they received here prepared them
well for their adult lives. The love and guidance they received from their teachers,
advisors, and counselors has helped mold and shape them into the awesome people they
are today, touching the lives of many people for Jesus each day, as many of you touched
theirs.
In the same way God has used LCS to shape and mold me into a master teacher in His
Kingdom. I have had the privilege of working with gifted teachers, serving and being
served by hundreds of children and their families. Through blessings and challenges God
has been faithful. It is hard to say goodbye to a community of faith that has been so much
a part of my life and the life of my family, but with the conclusion of this very important
chapter in my life comes the opportunity to continue to learn and grow in the next step
God has for me. While I do not yet know what ministry God has for me in the coming
years, it has become very clear that my time at LCS must end. After many months of
prayer and counsel from our family, Wally and I have decided it is time to sell our home
in Schenectady and move to Ilion to be with my sister. This has been a dream of ours for
quite a few years and now the time is right to make that move.
I will miss being part of such a dedicated and vibrant body of believers. You have
ministered to me and my family in ways that are beyond words. We welcome your
prayers as we look to see the next step Jesus has for us.
Sincerely
Ellen Plock
