Spaghetti sauce is a low-sodium product.
Meatless spaghetti sauce is a ready-to-eat
canned tomato-based sauce that is smooth in
texture and bright red in color.
Spaghetti sauce may be lightly seasoned with
spices and natural flavorings.
STORAGE




Store unopened spaghetti sauce in a cool,
clean, dry place.
Store remaining opened spaghetti sauce in a
tightly covered container not made from metal
and refrigerate.

PIZZA CASSEROLE

Directions
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (14 oz.) jar or can spaghetti sauce
2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tube (10 biscuits each) refrigerator
biscuits
1. Preheat oven to 350ᵒF.
2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain fat.
3. Add spaghetti sauce to ground beef.
Continue cooking until hot.
4. Spread mixture in bottom of a 9x13-inch baking
pan. Sprinkle cheese on top.
5. Place biscuits on top of cheese layer.
6. Bake approximately 10 minutes or until biscuits
are done.
7. Use spatula to serve and flip each serving upside
down (ground beef up).

6 oz. spaghetti, uncooked
2 eggs, beaten
½ c. Parmesan cheese, grated
2 c. spaghetti sauce
1 c. low-fat cottage cheese
2 T. margarine
1 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350ᵒF.
2. Cook spaghetti following package directions.
3. While spaghetti is cooking, brown ground beef.
Drain fat. Add spaghetti sauce to ground beef and
mix well.
4. Drain spaghetti when done. Stif in margarine, eggs,
and Parmesan cheese. Mix well. Form a crust in
the prepared pie plate using the spaghetti mixture.
5. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust. Top
with hamburger mixture.
6. Bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese
on top. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is
melted.
