idea to use moisturizer on your face to keep your
skin from getting dry. Mrs Hochman suggested in
order to stay healthy this winter try to exercise and
walk outside as much as possible. When going
outside this winter, always have your head covered
and dress in layers to stay warm. Mrs Hochman

An Interview with Mrs. Grimshaw
By: Isha Kosuru, Deepak Menon, Shraddha Vemuri
This year’s holiday concert is going to
be held on December 19, 2013.
We
interviewed Mrs. Grimshaw and asked her
some questions about the upcoming sing-along . We have some of the same songs as
last year and some are new. Mrs. Grimshaw
tried to pick songs that were fun as well as
challenging. “Christmas in about 3 minutes”
and “Sivivon” are two of the pieces that will
be in the sing along. During the sing-along, each grade will perform a specific
song. We asked Mrs. Grimshaw what some
of her favorite songs are. “Christmas in
about 3 minutes, Jingle Bells, and Winter
Wonderland are my favorite songs,” she
told us. When we asked her if Santa might
stop by this year for the sing-a-long, she
said she thinks so. We sure do hope he
continues his annual tradition and we all
hope you enjoy the sing-a-long.

An Interview With Mr. Ford
By: Ridhi Gera & Disha Gundani
Question: There is a child in our class who stays by them
self. We tried to be friends with him, or find a friend for
him to play with, but it hasn’t worked. Why can we do?
Mr. Ford said: We cannot make people friends with each
other, but we can be an example to others, and show
them how to make friends. Friendship is all about
making new friends by ourselves.
Question: My friends will not let me play tag because
they said I don’t follow the rules, but I feel that I do
follow the rules. When they finally they let me play, I had
to be “it” all the time. I thought it wasn’t fair to me.
What should I do?
Mr. Ford said: You can decide whether you are being
treated fairly and choose not to play with them.
