- How would you describe the facilities at the partner university
(library, cafeteria, sports etc) compared to Pforzheim University?
HIGH
Please explain: There were a lot of sporting possibilities, for
example I was able to join the Tennis Club; the Gym of the
University is free for students and has been renovated in 2016;
The Library is very big, there are many computers which you can
use for free and there is also the possibility to rent laptops; the
Cafeteria offers a high variety of meals, there is for example a
Sandwich station, a pasta station, etc.
- Please indicate one strength and one weakness of the university:
Strength: The Gym
Weakness: The health insurance: The international office hasn’t
told us that if you are from Germany there is the possibility to
bring your own health insurance and it’s not mandatory to take
the American one (The American health insurance is double the
price of a German one and nearly covers anything. But you have
to get in touch with the international office and ask them which
German health insurance they accept)
