BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE VIRGINIA ZOO
AVAILABILITY
Your birthday boy or girl will have a wild time at a Zoo birthday party. All birthday
parties include a visit from an animal ambassador
and activities geared towards the age of the birthday
child. (Specific animal ambassadors cannot be
guaranteed.) Parties are held year round
on Saturdays and Sundays and are offered
at seven different times throughout the day.
Reservations are required and are taken on a
first-come, first-serve basis.

a gift for the birthday child, an additional animal
ambassador and 15 train tokens.

packages, plus an additional 30 minutes in the party room, 15 party favors (valued at
$15 each), unlimited train ride coupons and an animal ambassador painting experience

SLUMBER PARTIES:
This all-night event for children age 6 and up includes games, crafts,
live animal presentations, a night walk around the Zoo and behindthe-scenes tours the following morning. There’s time for cake and
presents too and the Zoo provides a light breakfast in the morning.

to receive a partial refund of 80%. No refunds will be given for parties canceled less than three weeks
