Over the next six weeks we will be learning all about the Egyptians! We will be
doing lots of learning during class, but here are some ideas for you to do some
independent learning about this fascinating ancient civilization at home! Bring
your homework in to display it on our Egyptian wall! Hand in 5 pieces of
homework by Monday 6th February.
How did the Egyptians build the pyramids? You could write a set of
instructions for modern day people to build their own pyramid!
What jobs did the Ancient Egyptians have? Make a job advert. What job
is available? What skills do you need? What hours do you work?
Who were the most famous Pharaohs? Make a fact file presenting all your
research about the Pharaohs. Decorate it with illustrations in an Egyptian style.
What did the Egyptians eat? Make a menu for an Egyptian
banquet! Include a description, drawings and price (like a real menu).
What did the Egyptians believe? Make a poster to display the gods— which
was the most important? Why? Add as much information as possible!
