There are several reasons for these changes: (Continue on Page 2) Veritas used for Workers’ Comp The VERITAS automated process has increased efficiency in our workers’ compensation claims process in a number of ways. Historically, our data entry FTE would spend on average 10 minutes reviewing and inputting a paper form First Report of Work Injury. With the automated VERITAS process it is as simple as reviewing and clicking a button which converts the VERITAS submission into the IVOS workers’ compensation claim database as a claim. The VERITAS form is more efficient and secure in gathering the data as well. The information entered by the employee is password protected for the user. The VERITAS form also allows us to gather more information above and beyond that of the 1st report of work injury paper form. Quicker, faster more accurate and detailed information/data helps with every aspect of the claim process.
