CUSTOM
MODEL 1874
The above Custom Grade 1874 Sporting & Target Rifle is a premier deluxe variation for
the distinguished shooter and collector who understands & appreciates the highest tradition
in custom classic firearms. C. Sharps Arms exceeds all others in quality, not only in materials, but
excellence in manufacturing and craftsmanship in detail, fit, and finish.
Our actions and internal parts are machined from solid hot-rolled 8620 steel of the highest
degree of standard manufactured in the U. S. A.
Our barrels are the best quality with cut rifling and hand-lapped 4150 special alloy
chrome moly steel produced by Badger Barrel Co.
Our American & English walnut are select quality, air dried four years or longer, as
we have found kiln dried walnut is much more brittle, and chips and cracks much too easily.
Walnut of this quality is more difficult & expensive to acquire, but we are quite fortunate to
have established an excellent source of the highest quality walnut grown in the U. S. A.
The above H.H.L.R.S.&T. rifle may be custom made in many variations with shorter or
heavier barrels and different sight combinations to suit the individual.
BARRELS: 28” to 34” full octagon are available, as well as part octagon, standard weight, and
heavy weight octagon to produce overall rifle weight to 18 lbs.
ENGRAVING: GRADE IV as shown is available with most other game animals on right panel
and owner’s initials on left panel or lever also available. Gold inlay work available@ additional cost.
WOOD: Presentation American walnut is standard, English walnut and exhibition American walnut
is also available @ additional cost.
BUTTSTOCK: Standard as shown with a length of pull at approximately 14”, shorter or
longer length is also available @ additional cost.
FOREND: Variations are available with silver nose cap as well as accent panels at receiver
@ additional cost.
Note: Federal Excise Tax, State and Local Taxes and Shipping not included in above prices.
