COMPETITION GUIDELINES
●
Entry forms must be signed by the official Association or Club coach only. Entry forms with out a signed declaration, will
not be permitted to take part in the championships. Included again this year is a Team Demonstration, which consists of
minimum 3 persons or a maximum of 5 persons. Any safe demonstration can be performed ( no sharp are pointed
weapons) The demonstration can include as suggestions: Team Kata with or without Bunkai, Ippon Demonstrations Club
training routines, Self Defence etc. The maximum time allowed is 4 mins per demonstration. This event is in Memory of
its founder Dawn Royle.
Jujitsu events will commence on Saturday 1st July at 1000hrs on two areas with Children’s events, then Weapons and
Demonstrations. On Sunday 2nd July at 9.30am the Snr Ind Jujitsu categories will commence.

The minimum number of competitors per event category and the cancellation of events is at the discretion of the
organisers. Open categories may be entered as well as their respected weight categories.

All Students who are competing must be fully insured and must have their licences at hand to be checked on the day if
required.
●
All competitors should be aware that all the Styles are run to rules based on their World Federation or National
Federation. Slight amendments by the Organisers and Chief Referee’s may be necessary for a safe running of the
championships. Competitors event tickets will be in use on the day and will be required when you register at the tables
for each event, they will have your event and which area you should be on , these must be checked when you receive
them via your coach. Any discrepancies must be dealt with on receipt of the coaches park and notified to the main
control table.
Any spectator/competitor or coach infringing the above rules will be asked to leave the sports hall, no refund will be given, and
the name of the club concerned will be reported to their association Executive. Disqualification may be invoked when a
contestant or delegations act in a way which harms the prestige of the AMA. We do try to run events to time but unfortunately
all competitions do experience slight problems. Your help and attention is needed on all the above points, so everyone may enjoy
a safe and enjoyable day.
All Teams must book their own Hotel Accomodation in advance.

entries at an extra cost of £2 per event. Discounts will not be applicable.
