With a fish-in-fish-out ratio (FIFO) of less than 1.4,

high quality salmon.

Our third-party verification affirms both the quality and high standards of
our Atlantic salmon, which is a nutritious part of a healthy diet. Atlantic salmon
it is an excellent source of Omega 3, protein and vitamin A, D and B12.
Atlantic Sapphire is aiming to achieve the following certifications and
quality standards: Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) pilot program,
Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program, Ocean Wise,
Whole Foods Seafood Quality Standards, Best Aquaculture Practices
(BAP) Certification, and Global Aquaculture Alliance.
TECHNOLOGY
Improvements to technology arise when need drives innovation, which in turn
drives change. Atlantic Sapphire’s land-based Recirculating Aquaculture
Systems (RAS) use state-of-the-art technology. RAS offer a viable alternative
to ocean net-pen farming, employing energy and water efficient production
techniques on a small-scale.
