Course Housewares, LLC warrants this Cook’s Companion product to be free from manufacturer defect for up to 1 year from the original date of purchase. If a defect is found to exist, Course Housewares will, at its option, either repair or replace the product or the defective component, including labor. Replacement will be made with new or rebuilt product or components. This warranty Nulla facilisi does NOT cover (a) ordinary wear and tear (such as scratches, dents or stains), (b) impact damage or breakage, (c) heat discoloration, minor imperfections and slight color variations in the materials, which are a normal part of the craftsmanship, (d) extreme temperature changes (e) improper cleaning methods causing scratches, or (f) accessories, even if sold with the product, (g) any unit that has been tampered with, (h) damages incurred through improper use and care and (i) faulty packaging by you or mishandling by any common carrier. Failure to follow the accompanying Care and Use instructions or commercial use will void this warranty. Course Housewares’ sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at its option, of the defective item. You will be responsible for any shipping and handling fees. Products returned to us that are not found to be defective in material or workmanship will be returned to you. If your particular product is found defective but is no longer available and cannot be repaired, a comparable product, at our discretion, will be sent as a replacement. This warranty extends only to the product’s original purchaser, US residents only and does not cover damage caused by improper use or accidental damage. Companion will perform best when used as intended. To ensure the best performance of your bottle, please consistently follow these instructions. GETTING STARTED: BEFORE USING, REMOVE ANY LABELS AND WASH EACH ITEM. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS • Your Mega bottle is top rack dishwasher safe, however hand-­‐
washing with a soft cloth is recommended and will prolong the beauty of your Mega bottle. • Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as these can scratch the surface of the bottle. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS LID Attach to the top of the bottle and screw clockwise to tighten. STORAGE Attach to the bottom of the bottle and screw clockwise to tighten. Reverse to open. SUPPLEMENT STASH Attach to the bottom of the storage compartment and screw clockwise to tighten. RECIPES (continued) TURBO CUCUMBER Makes 22 ounces ! 2/3 lemon, sliced ! 1 in of cucumber ! 3-­‐4 mint leaves ! 22 ounces water Combine all the ingredients together in the infuser core then insert in the Mega bottle and fill with water. Let it brew in the refrigerator overnight. Drink cold. TANGERINE TEA Makes 22 ounces ! 2 cups brewed green tea ! 1 tangerine, sliced ! A handful of mint leaves Put the tangerine slices and mint leaves in the infuser core. Brew the tea and add the tea and water to the Mega bottle. Close the bottle and shake so all the flavors fuse together. Let sit in the refrigerator overnight. COMPONENTS HANG ATTACHMENT LID Seal it shut to prevent spills and use the hang attachment to carry it or latch it to a backpack. WHISK Drop it in your drink and shake to mix. Leave it in the bottle while drinking or take it out. STORAGE Remove the lid (turn counter-­‐clockwise to remove) to store your drink mix or a tasty snack. Then screw it to the bottom of your bottle and take it along. SUPPLEMENT STASH Store vitamins, supplements, and medications. Then turn clockwise to screw it to the bottom of the storage compartment. DO NOT USE WITH LIQUIDS OVER 191ºF AS THEY CAN DAMAGE THE BOTTLE AND CAUSE INJURY COMPONENTS (continued) SIDE VIEW Use the infuser core to infuse your drinks with fruit and herb flavors. The infuser core is top rack dishwasher safe. When using make sure to pack the infuser core loosely. TOP VIEW Insert the infuser core into the Mega bottle. Make sure to line up the alignment marks on the infuser with the alignment marks on the bottle. ALIGNMENT MARKS RECIPES FRUIT INFUSION Makes 22 ounces ! 1 tangerines or 2/3 large orange, thinly sliced ! 2 inches of cucumber, sliced into rings ! 4 strawberries, sliced into rings ! 1/2 cup of ice ! Water Add the tangerines, cucumber and strawberries into infuser. Insert into the Mega bottle and add water. Let the bottle sit in the fridge for 1 hour before serving. Refill the bottle several times with the same Tangerines, Cucumbers and Strawberries. Store in the fridge up to 10 days. LEMON RASPBERRY WATER Makes 22 ounces 1 cup organic raspberries 3 cups spring or filtered water 1/2 large organic lemon—cut into ½-­‐ inch slices 1 dried Medjool dates (optional but adds nice sweetness to the water) 2-­‐3 drops lemon essential oil 1. Add raspberries to your infuser core. Add the dates and layer the lemon slices on top. Pour water into the Mega bottle and place lid on top. 2. Let infuse for 1 hour. Remove the lemon slices after 1 hour and squeeze the lemon juice into the infused water. 3. Add the lemon essential oil drops into the jar. Shake the bottle with the lid on. Put back into the refrigerator for 8 hours for best flavor.
