you must sign up for a
FSA ID.

workshop. Bring the completed worksheet with you.
 If you are a RENEWAL
Student (you completed a
2015-16 FAFSA), bring
your FSA ID with you.

FAFSA Applicants
 Driver’s License
 Social Security Card or #
 Alien Registration Card or #, if
you are not a United States Citizen.
 Your 2015 W-2’s.
 Parent’s 2015 W-2’s.
 Your tax and parent tax information; previous year taxes are
okay for now if you don’t have
2015 tax information completed.
 Any records of untaxed income
such as: unemployment benefits, workers comp, disability
benefits, or child support received or paid.
 Any records of value of Business/
Investments/Assets (if applicable)


Workshops
provide free,
professional
financial
assistance to
families
completing
the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)/
CA Dream Act Application and answer questions regarding the Cal Grant GPA Verification forms.
The FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) /
CA Dream Act Application is a required form for all students wishing to receive financial aid whether you want
to attend a four-year college/university, community college, vocational, or technical college.
 Your tax and parent tax information; previous year taxes are

Hartnell College Financial Aid professionals will be available to answer
general and specific questions about completing the FAFSA/CA Dream
Act Application and Cal Grant forms.

Most families will be encouraged to complete the FAFSA/CA Dream Act
form in the “on-line” format on computers at Workshop locations on
campus the day of the event. That means that the student/family will
complete the FAFSA/CA Dream Act Application forms in
computer labs.

Financial Aid resource materials will be available to encourage student success.
