avoid interest charges.
1. Offer subject to change. Account must be in good standing. To qualify for the 60,000 bonus Membership
Rewards® points, you must have at least $1,000 in net purchases posted to your account in your first 3 months of
Cardmembership. Purchases must be posted to your account on or before your three month anniversary date. Please
allow up to six weeks for the Welcome Bonus to be awarded.
2. There is no annual fee for one Supplementary Platinum Card. Additional Platinum Supplementary Cards have an
annual fee of $175 each and. Maximum of 9 Gold Supplementary Cards have an annual fee of $50 each.
3. To qualify for a credit, eligible American Express Platinum Cardmembers must have 1 or more Ontario Medical
Association (OMA) membership fee purchase charged to their American Express Platinum Card within the first 12
months of Cardmembership. A credit will be earned only on full dollar amounts of each qualifying Ontario Medical
Association (OMA) membership fee purchase up to maximum of $200. Any purchase amount less than $1 will carry
forward and be added to the next qualifying purchase up to the last day of the bonus period or until the maximum of
$200 has been reached, whichever comes first.
4. If you reach an annual net purchase threshold of $60,000 before your Card anniversary date, you will receive an
additional 5,000 Membership Rewards points (“points”). Net purchases means purchases less returns and
adjustments posted to your account. A purchase must have a transaction date that is prior to the Card anniversary
date and must be posted to your account in order to be considered in the calculation of the net purchases threshold.
On each Card anniversary date, the calculation of the applicable annual net purchases threshold resets to zero and
you must qualify again for the new annual period. Purchases transacted on the Card anniversary date will be included
in the calculation of net purchases for the next annual period and not the previous annual period. Once an annual net
purchases threshold is reached, please allow approximately 7 days for the bonus points to be credited. In the case of
credits or returns that reduce the amount of net purchases below the $60,000 threshold, for which bonus points were
previously issued to your Membership Rewards Program account, (i) at our discretion, bonus points previously
earned may be deducted from points earned or from future issued points, and (ii) if we do not deduct such bonus
points, you will not be eligible to earn additional bonus points for reaching the same annual net purchases threshold
previously reached. Any bonus points earned are also subject to the Membership Rewards Program Terms and
Conditions. You acknowledge that the arrangement we have with the Ontario Medical Association may be changed
or terminated at any time.
5. Priority Pass - Platinum Basic and Platinum Supplementary Cardmember(s) (“Cardmember”) may apply for a
Priority Pass membership (“PP membership”). PP membership is subject to approval by Priority Pass Limited (“PPL”)
and is not guaranteed. Unless cancelled, PP membership automatically renews on its anniversary date. PP
membership may be cancelled by American Express if: (i) the Priority Pass benefit associated with the Platinum Card
is changed or terminated, or (ii) the Cardmember's Platinum Card is cancelled. PP membership includes access to
any airport lounge participating in the Priority Pass Program. Participating lounges are owned and operated by
independent third parties and their participation and/or facilities can change from time to time. To access a lounge,
the Cardmember will need to show his/her valid Priority Pass card and an airline ticket for travel on the same day for
the Cardmember and each of his/her guests. At their sole discretion, participating lounges may restrict entry of
persons under 21 years old; please check restriction details for the individual lounges atwww.prioritypass.com or your
Priority Pass Directory provided by PPL. All Priority Pass lounge visits are complimentary for the enrolled
Cardmember and one guest. All additional guests are subject to a fee of $27 US per person per visit. Lounge access
charges can be billed by PPL to the Platinum Card connected to the Cardmember's PP membership upon PP's
receipt of notification from the lounge visited. All Cardmembers are subject to PPL's terms and conditions for the
Priority Pass Program and the individual lounge operators' terms of use for the participating lounges visited. For

6. Account must be in good standing. Membership Rewards points will be earned by the Basic Cardmember on the
amount of purchases, less credits and adjustments. Interest charges, annual fees, other fees and charges for
travellers cheques and foreign currencies are not purchases and do not qualify for Membership Rewards points.
7. $200 Annual Travel Credit – The $200 CAD Annual Travel Credit can only be redeemed at time of booking through
Platinum Card Travel Service or at americanexpress.ca/travel. Travel booking must be charged to The Platinum
Card. If you choose to use the Travel Credit, it will be credited to your Card account within 2 business days.
Cardmember is entitled to one (1) Annual Travel Credit each calendar year, towards a single travel booking of $200
or more, and will appear on the Platinum Cardmember’s billing statement as "Platinum Annual Travel Credit". If you
cancel your travel booking after redeeming the Annual Travel Credit, you will not be able to use it again in the same
calendar year.
8. Starwood - Enrollment in the Starwood Preferred Guest program is required. Benefits are subject to change. Terms
and conditions of the Starwood Preferred Guest program apply. For complete terms and conditions of the Starwood

Cardmember in good standing.
9. Hilton - Hilton HHonors Gold Status – As a Platinum Cardmember you are eligible to enroll in complimentary
Hilton HHonors™ Gold status. Offer available only to Platinum Cardmembers and is not transferable. Full details of

are subject to availability at participating hotels and resorts within the Hilton Portfolio. Once you request enrollment in
Hilton HHonors Gold status, American Express will share your enrollment information with Hilton. Hilton may use this
information in accordance with its privacy policy available atHilton.com/privacypolicy. If you already have Hilton
HHonors Gold Status, you can maintain the benefit in the future because you don’t need to meet any stay
requirements. You maintain Gold status without meeting otherwise required criteria only while an eligible cardholder
or until American Express notifies you that the benefit is terminated. Hilton HHonors™ membership, earning of Points

11. Toronto Pearson Valet Service – Basic and Supplementary Platinum Card members must present a valid,
unexpired Platinum Card when picking up vehicle for $25 Valet fee to be waived. Waived fee applies only to Toronto

12. Toronto Pearson 15% Parking Discount – 15% discount off the cost of parking (including taxes) will be provided
as a credit to your Platinum Card statement. The parking lot is subject to availability. Discount available at Express

13. Pearson Priority Lane - American Express Basic and Supplementary Cardmembers with a valid Platinum Card
are entitled to access the Pearson Priority Lanes (“Priority Lane”) during peak airport operating hours. The Priority
Lanes are serviced by the Greater Toronto Airport Authority. Priority Lanes are located at select departure areas at
Toronto’s Pearson International Airport in Terminal 1 & 3. Access to a Pearson Priority Lane is available to eligible
Cardmembers and companions travelling on the same itinerary upon the presentation of a valid, unexpired eligible
Card. The name on the Card must match the name on the boarding pass. All passengers departing Pearson
International Airport, including those accessing the Priority Lane are required to comply with airport security and
customs screening requirements. Priority Lane access is subject International Airline Program – The International
Airline Program (the “Program”) offers a companion ticket, complimentary upgrade, special class fare or discounted
fare on participating airlines to holders of eligible basic American Express Cards (“Eligible Cards”). In order to take
advantage of the Program, the Eligible Cardmember’s account must be active (meaning not cancelled).
