RB Maths Homework
At school, you selected a couple of Gladiator boards for times-tables that you know that
you know when you have lots of time to answer the questions. Now, we are trying to
put you under pressure to answer the questions at speed!
For your maths homework this week, please will you play games of Times Table
Gladiator.
You will need a question master / referee. Their job is to ask the questions (in any
order they like). For example, 8 x 7, and then to monitor the accuracy of the answers
given. They should be able to see the red referee’s sheet so that they can concentrate
on who was first, rather than having to work the answers out!
You will need an opponent who you can race against to answer the questions. First
person to answer correctly scores a point. If your opponent calls out a wrong answer,
take your time and make sure that you get it right. It’s a balance between speed and
accuracy!
