Thank you for participating in the APA of North Harris
County. The Fall session is coming to an end. With this
our attention is on the Spring Session. The Spring
session roster is the roster that plays in the City
tournament, if your team is or becomes qualified. It is
important to understand the rules about the
tournament. Your team if previously was qualified must
be in the top 50% of your Division and have at least 4
members from the qualified team. Your Roster will
become frozen after the forth week of the session. If
your team needs to lower it’s skill level you need to find
and put new players on your roster by the first week.
All teams players that expect to attend City will have to
end the session with at least 10 matches in the APA in
the last two years, and a min. of 4 matches in the
spring session. There is no exception to this rule. Also
the skill level in the City tournament will be the highest
session ending skill level for this leagueContinued

RESULTS
On December 4, 2010 we held the Open Tournament
at Bogies Billiards and sports bar. We had 3 players
attend for the 2, 3 bracket. In the 4, 5 bracket we had
14 players and in the 6, 7 bracket there were 14
participants as well. Bogies added 150.00 to the pot for
prize money. Because of the added money we paid
$75 for runner up and 50 for third place on the two
higher brackets. A good time was had by all. We hope
to see more 2, 3 attend in the future.

The Spring Session Roster is the Roster that will play
for the trip to Vegas. Remember there will not be roster
changes because of the 23 rule during the session. All
qualified teams must have 4 original members on the
roster. The time to split teams is now. If your team is
top heavy with skill level you need to change up the
team now. If you split now you might make it to Vegas.
If your team members move up you may not be able to
play.

SINGLES
The window is now closed for the singles regionals.
We will have 40 players going to The temple area. The
tournament will be held the first week of March. The
players that win in March will attend the tournament in
Vegas in April. Good Luck to all. If you Qualified and
will not attend please call me so I can have someone
else have your spot. The runner up may get to attend
in October or if the reason you can’t attend is
excusable you may get to go in October. Don’t waste
the spot.
LAST CHANCE FOR VEGAS
Jack & Jill qualifiers will start back up in January. We
will have a qualifier when at least 4 couples are willing
to play. The finals will be held in late February or early
March. We have one trip available for April. We are on
the waiting list for a second trip. To play in the Jack &
Jill tournament, your team must have a combined skill
level of 10 or less. You must be on a 8 Ball team and
have at least 20 lifetime matches. The cost to play is $
35 a team. You play alternate shot. There is a race
chart like we have during league play. In February or
early March, we have a finals tournament. The winners
will get a paid flight and hotel to Vegas. Please come
and try out and maybe you will join us in Vegas
