Road sweepers:
FAUN refuse collection vehicles and road sweepers are
designed to offer long-term reliability, maximum efficiency
and to work consistently all the time.
We offer a wide range of products to provide a tailor-made
solution for each task. Our engineers and designers put
innovations and high-tech systems on the road, from which
you will benefit day to day and with which you will also be
able to differentiate yourself from the competition – for
example, by sustainably reducing fuel consumption and
emissions of hazardous materials and noise. We realise
the issues of emissions and noise reduction in the
ECOPOWER options.
As the customer, you can decide how environmentally
friendly you want to design your fleet. FAUN also has been

Continuous improvement is the guiding principle behind
the further development of our products.
The focus here is always on you, the user, with quantum
leaps such as the world‘s first diesel-electric hybrid refuse
collection vehicle DUALPOWER, as well as in apparently
conventional details. Such as consistently improved wear
resistance, to reduce operating costs and increase the value
of your investment. We save weight where it does not
affect the stability and strong material thickness where
high wear and rough operation require it.
The new ECOPOWER options allow you to choose which
option best suits your strategy for saving energy. Minimising
noise to minimise nuisance caused to your staff and residents
while saving fuel, without losing out on performance –
that makes sense and saves money.
Fraction-optimised compaction gives you the best usable
capacity for each type of refuse collected while maintaining
the permitted axle loads. Greater security with improved
productivity and minimised wear are united and are no
longer mutually exclusive.
Continuously improving what is good is not a pastime for
our engineers but brings you tangible benefits.
The new Streamline generation of FAUN road sweepers
already combine the unique FAUN air circulation system
with revolutionarily improved air flow: the smaller and lighter
VW-diesel engine allows the angled position of the fan
directly in the air stream. The installation space that has
become free is used for an additional water tank that also
acts as an additional noise barrier between the fan and the
driving position. The result does not just give you considerably improved suction performance and a greater range
but also fuel savings, compliance with the most stringent
emission standard and lower working noise.
The new V-shaped suction shaft also enhances suction performance and reduces wear: just one brush strip has to be
changed and this is also more accessible. Your FAUN VIAJET
Streamline needs less time for maintenance and sweeps
better and for longer.
