2017 marks the beginning of our 10th year building silverware chests of superior
quality and contemporary appeal. In our shop there are 13 styles, with many of them
available in 5 different woods. Solid woods used are Cherry, Walnut, Oak, Quarter-sawn
White oak, and American chestnut. American chestnut is an antique reclaimed wood
with nail and spike holes, varying grain patterns and distinctive worm holes and tracks.
A chest made from this wood is given the same high quality finish as our other woods.
As a special order we have available Hickory, Ambrosia Maple, Soft Maple as well as
other woods. Each design showcases the natural beauty of the wood and the simple
style and absence of ornamentation create long-lasting appeal.
We have 7 chests with a hinged lid and one drawer. Three of our most popular chests,
the Towne, Gallery, and Madison, are equipped with a lid stay to prevent accidental
closing. We have 4 models with 3 drawers. Drawers feature full extension ball bearing
slides on most models.
Ordering a chest is easy. You may want to fax the order form, call us, or email it. Scroll
through these pages to see all the options. Choose the chest style, the wood type, finish
color, pulls or knobs, velvet lining, and the laser engraving/type style for the top of the
chest. You can see options for each style on the Options Page.
Payment method is your choice of PayPal, Google Wallet, check, or credit/debit card. We
will calculate the cost for you, include shipping (see estimates below), and send you an
invoice with all of the options you have chosen. Call or text (don’t email) with the credit/
debit card info, or fax it by writing the number on the Order Form.
Each chest will accommodate 16 place settings. Knife size constraints are 9 7/8 maximum length, 13/16 maximum blade width at 2 inches from the end of the blade.
Almost all knives easily fall under these limits. Please call if you have a larger knife, as
some chest styles may accommodate them.
Shipping will be calculated when you place your order. The shipping charge is based on
the destination of the package, weight and size, and the delivery service used which is
commonly UPS Ground. The following shipping costs are approximate. Estimated cost
to ship a silverware chest to Indianapolis IN $62, Wichita KS $65, Memphis TN $63, Pembina ND $77, Phoenix AZ $87, Boise ID $86, Edberg AB $158, Winnipeg MB $120.
When you place your order, we like 4-5 weeks until the ship date. If necessary, we may
be able to process your order in less time than that. Please let us know when you would
like to receive your silverware chest. We try to ship on Friday, two weeks before that
