This is our chance to unite as a school and cheer on all of the fall sports teams throughout the week, but we also get to compete friendly between classes! Wear their school colors (red and white) and/or bandages, fake injuries, etc. Wednesday: Class Color Day Be proud and wear your classes color! Frosh: Green Soph: Red Jr’s: Blue Sr’s: Black Thursday: Decade Day Have you always thought you were born in the wrong decade?! Now’s the day to wear clothes inspired from the 1950’s 1980’s! Friday: School Spirit Day Today you can show your love and support to our high school! You can wear orange and black, Powder Puff jerseys, or any other Grafton apparel. Go Black Hawks! Lunch Room Activities Places and points: 1 st 20, 2 nd 15, 3 rd 10, 4 th 5 Monday: Ice Cream Eating Contest/ Box Game One person per class will compete to eat a pint of ice cream the quickest. Classes randomly pick a box with a set number of points in it, and they earn that number of points for the week. Tuesday: TV Show Theme Song Trivia The class member who can match the most names to the TV shows’ theme song wins! Wednesday: Guitar Hero Are you pro at Guitar Hero and want to prove it?! Well here’s your chance! A member from each class plays the same Guitar Hero song on Expert. Whoever gets the highest amount of points wins! Thursday: Milk Chug Students from each grade have a chance to chug a pint of chocolate or white milk. Whoever gets it down first wins! Friday: Concert Hallway Decorating On Sunday Sept. 21 st 3:307:00 each class gets a hallway to decorate relating to their specific decade. Class officers from each grade receive $100 worth of certificates from the school to buy supplies for their hallway and float building. Each class has the chance to enter a float that will be judges during the parade. Judging will be based on creativity, neatness/presentation, use of theme, originality, use of space, and overall impression. Building will take place at each classes designated location. Monday Wednesday 4:307:00, and Thursday 4:306:30. Judging will take place at St. Paul’s Church on Thursday between 6:306:45 pm. · · · · Freshman District Garage Sophomores Stage (Cement area) Juniors Water Treatment Center Seniors Private Location Parade The parade will take place on Thursday, Sept. th 25 at 7:00 pm. It will begin at St. Paul’s Church and make its way down to the high school football field. Each class may enter a float. Those who wish to be a part of the parade can follow behind their class float or walk with their sport team. Those who won’t be participating are encouraged to come and watch! Pep Rally The pep really will immediately follow the parade on the football field (weather permitting). The Homecoming Court will be announced and the King and Queen crowned. Each sports team’s captain will be presenting a speech about their wonderful team. With all this excitement, you definitely will not want to miss it! So are the buff Senior girls going to dominate over the Juniors? Or are the Juniors going to step it up this year and pose a challenge for the Seniors? Make sure to come on Friday, September 26 th after the Laugh Olympics to see the rumble go down! Homecoming Dance Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the festivities the homecoming dance has to offer on September 27 th at 8:00 pm. Tickets will be available during both lunches $16 per couple, $8 per single, and $10 per person at the door. Grand March will be held in the Gymnasium at 10:30 pm and the dance will end at 11:30 pm. Make sure to come before 9:00 pm, because the doors will be closed afterwards! Have a great time and dance the night away!
