Surveys - Thanks for your help

irstly a big thank you to all those members who responded to our first Business Confidence Survey this
month. Nearly one in three of you replied which was a super response rate and much appreciated.
We are currently collating results and expect to see Economic Development shortly to discuss
outcomes. Further confidence surveys will be carried out quarterly to keep everyone in touch with
the views of local business. Results for this quarter will be published in March Online.
Also as part of a review we are carrying out to ensure we are in touch with members needs as an organisation, we are
in course of adapting to a British Chamber of Commerce national standard. Part of this exercise includes an annual
survey of members’ needs and ideas to ensure we are in better touch with our membership base. As before we urge
all members to complete this survey that will be carried out in March it will be of enormous assistance in supporting
our business planning process for the remainder of the year.
