What will my child do and learn
in Kids Create?
In September:
Introductions
We will explore our classroom and make new friends.
We will learn how to take care of our things and each
other. Through art, dance and theater we will have fun
and learn while we work, sing, dance, play, laugh and
create.
-An introduction to learning the spectrum. The color
RED will be available to explore through, manipulating
and matching red objects, matching the letters to spell
red, songs, a book about red, and red collage materials.
-The letters Aa and Ll
We will focus on these letters through art projects, tracing, matching, books, songs and exploring objects that
start with these sounds. We will be creating an Alphabet
Book that will be a collection of your child’s art that
corresponds with each letter.
-Number 1
We will touch, trace, count, match, clap, sing, spell and
have lots of fun with number one.
-Materials in the classroom will reflect the end of
summer and the changing of the seasons.
