Crunchy Beef Bake Casserole
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
1 pound ground beef
1 (1094 ounce) can condensed
c r e a m of mushroom soup
3 / 4 cup shredded cheddar
cheese
1 (141/2 ounce) can whole
tomatoes, cut up
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
3 / 4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 (3 ounce) can french fried
onions
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. Brown ground beef; drain. C o m b i n e all ingredients except
onions. Pour half the mixture into a 2-quart casserole. Add
1/2 can onions. Pour remaining mixture over onions.
Conventional oven directions: Cover, bake at 3 5 0 ° for
30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake, uncovered,
5 minutes longer.
Microwave directions: Top casserole with onions. Cover
baking dish with glass cover or plastic wrap. Microwave on
Roast (4) 8 to 10 minutes. 4 to 6 servings.
Creamettes & Ripe Olive Casserole Ole!
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
2 cups cooked pork (or 1 pound
ground beef)
1 medium onion, chopped
3 / 4 cup green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup pitted ripe olives
4 cups canned whole tomatoes,
cut up
1/2 cups whole kernel corn,
drained
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon cumin, optional
1 cup corn chips
dairy sour cream
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. Brown meat, add onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook until
tender, draining excess fat. Add macaroni, ripe olives, tomatoes
with liquid, corn, tomato sauce, cheese, chili powder, oregano, salt,
pepper, cayenne pepper and cumin. Pour into 3-quart casserole.
Top with corn chips. Serve with sour cream.
Conventional oven directions: B a k e at 3 2 5 ° for 25 minutes.
Microwave directions: Cover baking dish with glass cover or
plastic wrap. Microwave on Roast (4) 8 to 10 minutes. Serve with sour
cream. 8 servings.
Fiesta Salad
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
1/2 pound ground beef
1 (151/2 ounce) can kidney beans,
drained
5 cups torn head lettuce
(about 1/2 head)
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup celery, diced
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup pitted black olives,
sliced
1/2 cup hot cherry peppers,
diced
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup crushed taco chips
"Avocado Dressing
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. Brown ground beef and drain off excess fat. Add kidney
beans and simmer 10 minutes. C o m b i n e Creamettes. meat
mixture, lettuce, green onions, celery, tomatoes, olives, cherry
peppers and cheese. Add Avocado Dressing, toss, and chill. At
serving time add crushed taco chips. Serves 8.
"Avocado Dressing:
1 ripe avocado, mashed
1/2 cup salad oil
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tablespoons lime juice
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Mix above ingredients thoroughly.
Macaroni Florentine
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
1 (10 ounce) package frozen
chopped spinach, cooked
and drained
1/2 pounds cottage cheese
(small curd)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese,
grated (reserve 1/4 cup)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. Combine macaroni with next seven ingredients; mix well.
Pour 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce into a 13 x 9 " baking dish. Spoon
macaroni mixture into dish and top with remaining sauce.
Sprinkle with reserved parmesan cheese.
Conventional oveti directions: B a k e in a 3 7 5 ° oven for
30 minutes or until bubbly.
Microwave directions: Cover baking dish with glass cover or

Creamettes Beef Italiano
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon salad oil
1 {ISV2 ounce) jar spaghetti
sauce
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon sweet basil and salt
(each)
2 tablespoons butter or
margarine
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
1 (8 ounce) package shredded
cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. In large skillet, saute onion, green pepper, and beef in salad
oil. Drain excess fat. Stir in 114 cups spaghetti sauce, 1 teaspoon
salt, water, and basil. Bring to a boil, cook 5 minutes, stirring often.
In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour and gradually blend in milk.
Cook 'til thick. Remove from heat and add cheese, 1/2 teaspoon
salt, pepper. Stir until cheese melts. Pour meat sauce into 3-quart
greased casserole or 13 x 9 x 2" pan. Spoon Creamettes on top.
Smother with cheese Sauce. Drizzle remaining sauce on top.
Conventional Oven Directions: Bake 30 minutes at 400?
Microwave Directions: Cover baking dish with glass cover
or plastic wrap. Microwave on Roast (4) 8 to 10 minutes.

Hot Diggity Hot Dish
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
1 ( 1 pound) package wieners
vegetable cooking spray
1 (1034 ounce) can cream of
celery soup
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 (8 ounces) cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. Cut all but 4 wieners into one- inch pieces, leaving four
remaining whole. Spray 2-quart casserole with vegetable spray.
Combine macaroni, wiener pieces, and remaining ingredients
in casserole.
Conventional Oven Directions: Bake, uncovered, in
3 5 0 ° oven for 25 minutes. Top with whole wieners; bake 15 minutes
more.
Microwave Oven Directions: Top with remaining 4 whole
wieners. Cover baking dish with glass cover or plastic wrap.
Microwave on Roast (4) for 10 to 13 minutes.

Tuna-Macaroni Bake
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
1 (12J/2 ounce) can tuna, flaked
1 (1034 ounce) can condensed
cream of celery soup
1 tablespoon instant minced
onion
1 (4 ounce) can pimientos,
coarsely chopped
1 Va cups shredded cheddar
cheese, divided
\lA cups dairy sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
paprika
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. Preheat oven to 350°. Toss macaroni, tuna with liquid,
s o u p , onion, pimientos, sour cream, salt and 3/4 cup cheese.
Pour into a shallow, 2 ^ - q u a r t baking dish, sprinkle with
remaining cheese, then the paprika.
Conventional Oven Directions: Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes,
or until heated through.
Microwave Directions: Cover baking dish with glass
cover or plastic wrap. Microwave on Roast (4) for 8 to 10 minutes.

Macaroni Stroganoff
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
1 pound ground beef
1 cup onions, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon beau monde
seasoning, if desired
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 (1034 ounce) can
condensed cream of
mushroom soup
1 (16 ounce) can green peas,
drained
1 cup dairy sour cream
2 tablespoons cooking sherry,
if desired
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. Combine ground beef, onion, salt, beau monde and pepper.
Shape into small meatballs. Brown in oil. Drain excess fat.
Add soup, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Combine with macaroni,
peas, sour cream and sherry. Pour into 2|/2-quart casserole.
Conventional Oven Directions: Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Microwave Directions: Cover baking dish with glass cover
or plastic wrap. Microwave on Roast (4) for 8 to 10 minutes.

Beef and Macaroni Casserole
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
1 (2*/2 ounce or 5 ounce) jar
sliced dried beef, chopped
5 tablespoons margarine or
butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
1 Vz cups American cheese,
grated
1 cup soft bread crumbs
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. Melt 3 tablespoons margarine. Add flour, seasonings, milk.
Cook 3 minutes. Stir in cheese, heat until melted. Add macaroni
and dried beef. Heat 5 minutes. Pour into 2/2-quart casserole.
Melt remaining margarine, toss with bread crumbs. Top casserole,
broil until lightly browned. 6 servings.
Chicken Macaroni Mingle Salad
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
2 (5 ounces each) cans chunk
white chicken
1 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup sliced radishes
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup bottled Italian dressing
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Prepare Creamettes Elbow Macaroni according to package
directions. Drain. In large bowl toss macaroni with remaining
ingredients. Chill 6 hours or more. Makes 8 cups.
Summer Super Salad
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
1 (121/2 ounce) can tuna
drained and flaked
1 (8 ounce) package (2 cups)
natural cheddar or
colby cheese, diced
2 cups fresh mushrooms,
sliced
1 large tomato, diced
1 cup sweet pickles, diced
1/3 cup green onions, sliced
1/3 cup celery, diced
1/2 cup Italian dressing
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions
for salad use. Drain. Add tuna and next six ingredients. Blend
Italian dressing, sour cream and seasoned salt thoroughly. Add to
salad and toss well. Chill. Garnish with additional slices of cheese,
if desired. Serves 8 to 10.
Cheesy Macaroni Bake
3 cups Creamettes Elbow
Macaroni (uncooked)
1 V2 pounds ground beef
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
IV2 pounds ricotta cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese,
shredded
114 cups parmesan cheese,
grated (reserve 1/4 cup)
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. In a skillet, brown beef thoroughly; drain off fat.
Combine macaroni, beef, 2 cups spaghetti sauce, ricotta,
mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Pour 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce into
a 13 x 9" baking dish. Spoon macaroni mixture into dish and
top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with reserved parmesan
cheese.
Conventional oven directions: Bake in a 3 5 0 ° oven for
35 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Microwave directions 1 Cover baking dish with glass cover or
plastic wrap. Microwave on Roast (4) for 8 to 10 minutes. Let stand
5 minutes before serving.
Serves about 6.
Hearty Vegetable Soup
1 (7 ounce) package Creamettes
Elbow Macaroni
(2 cups uncooked)
4 slices bacon, diced
1 large onion, chopped
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
2 (IO/2 ounce) cans beef broth
3/2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen
mixed vegetables
parmesan cheese, grated
(optional)
Prepare Creamettes according to package directions.
Drain. In a large saucepan, fry bacon until almost crisp. Add onion
and saute until translucent. Combine next six ingredients with
bacon and onion. Simmer covered 20 minutes. Add vegetables
and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in macaroni and sprinkle with
parmesan cheese. Makes 12 one cup servings.
