Trace the chronology of events leading to the American Revolution, including the French and Indian War, passage of the Stamp Act, the Boston Tea Party, the Boston Massacre, passage of the Intolerable Acts, the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the publication of ​Common Sense​, and the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Front Page of Newspaper: Investigate the First Continental Congress gatherings. Create a description of the events as a reporter during the time period, highlighting what occurred during the Congress meetings, and the roles of Revolutionary leaders. Create an Infographic, that depicts the events, and decisions that were made by the Second Continental Congress. You may use Easel.ly http://www.easel.ly or another tool of your choice for this assignment. Create a Movie that highlights the major events that led to the American Revolution. Include philosophies that influenced leaders of the time. Use a voice-­over for your movie narrating the movie for the viewer. Create a Satirical Comic Strip that depicts some of the reasons the colonists felt they had no choice but to go to war against Great Britain. Include key revolutionary leaders.
